Should i keep it shaved?????

i am going in
the near future to get birth control and some one said they have to check down
there.. and i shave down there should i let the hair regrow?? also i masturbate
and my lips are a little discolored and stretched is this bad when a doc is
looking down there will they be able to tell what i do???????? i dont know what
to do HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
None of that is a huge deal, doctors have seen it all. Statistics indicate it's
much more common for women to shave down there these days, but many still choose
not to. Really, your doctor shouldn't care if it's shaved or not, I would just
advise to make sure you're clean. This is both to make you and the doctor feel
more comfortable, and also to keep the Pap smear they give you accurate.

As for your lips being discoloured and stretched, this may not have to do with
masturbating...every girl's labia and vulva look different, and maybe you just
noticed their appearance when you started masturbating. The doctor will not see
discoloured labia and assume you masturbate. And even if they did, the doctor
will not care! It's normal. Your doctor has done so many Pap smears before, I'm
sorry to tell you this but you're just another pelvis. The doctor will not judge
you or dislike you, I promise.
just do whatever you feel comfortable with. Doctors have seen every type of
vagina/pubic hair, once you walk out that room, the doctor wont even give it a
thought! and your lips being discoloured and stretched has nothing to do with
masturbation, its just the way they are made!!!
keep it shaved

Whats wrong with me?

For the past week or
so i've been feeling different, but im not sick, well at least i dont think i
am. First it was just that my stomach would feel kinda funny, like gooish. Even
if i didnt eat much for the past few hours or so. and then my head started to
bother me, like i was dizzy. and this weekend i started noticeing that i'm
REALLY REALLY tired. i feel like im about to fall asleep. but normally im a
really hyper awake person. So does anyone know if this is symptoms to a sickness
or something? and yes, i have drank a lot of water, so many people have told me
that, and it hasnt worked if thats what ur gonna say
Are you vegetarian or lactose intolerant?? If you are then it is really
important that you supplement with a multi B complex supplement on a daily
basis..... This sounds like iron deficiency anemia to me as somebody has already
mentioned.

Iron deficiency anemia will produce symptoms such as excessive feelings of being
cold, fatigue and exhaustion, nasty nasty headaches, paleness of skin, dizzy and
fainting spells, irritability and moodiness .... are you eating enough iron rich
foods?? Without the B6 that meat so richly provides you will also have digestive
troubles as B6 is essential for producing hydrochloric acid in your tummy.

A good way to check if you have iron deficiency anemia is to look at the
coloring of the inner lid of your bottom eyelid ........ pasty and white means
that you are anemic, rich and red is healthy and not anemic

Please ensure that you are also getting enough calcium, vitamin D (known as the
sunshine vitamin) and vitamins B6 and B12 as all these are needed for the
effective assimilation of iron in your body .......... take a multi B complex
supplement containing all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and folate
etc.... as they all work best as a group.... don't buy any of the B complex of
vitamins individually but rather as a whole group unless a nutritionally
oriented physician or naturopath specifically tells you to do so.

hope this helps you ?

take care of you ?

CHEERS
?
My pleasure mate and thanx you........... have a great day / night ... ;0)

CHEERS Report It
Gosh, it could be so many things.

Perhaps, you are anemic, meaning you do not get enough iron through your diet.
And with being a women, a lot of iron is lost due to menses.
There are iron supplements available, but try using a pre-natal vitamin. Instead
of two, if you were pregnant, use one pill.

And eat lots of dark leafy greens, broccoli, kidney beans and red cabbage.
Mono
Pregnant

Your best bet would be to see a doctor.
Pregnant??? Maybe.
diabetes?

Triglycerides

I went to the Doctor three
months ago and my triglycerides were 855, she instructed me to eat less bread,
pasta and potatoes, I eat no bread or Potatoes and very little pasta, the other
day my after three months my triglycerides were 413 I would like to lower them I
was wondering if someone could tell me if liquid egg product even the all white
liquid eggs are bad?
To reduce triglyceride level in blood, you have to reduce the total diet
content, in addition to reducing fatty food. This is because body has a
mechanism to convert remaining food material to triglycerides. Regular exercise
will also help by burning out more calories. You have to check your blood sugar
as diabetics have elevated triglycerides. Since your triglycerides are still
high (target 150), please consult your doctor once again for further advice.
Great reduction in your triglycerides! You should also limit sweets and alcohol,
as both can raise triglycerides.

It's important not to consume more calories than your body can use too. Regular
exercise and food portion control can help.

The American Heart Association recommends limiting eggs to no more than 4 per
week. All of the fat and cholesterol in an egg is contained in the yolk, not the
white part, so egg substitute that contains only whites is OK.

Fish oil has been shown to reduce triglycerides, so ask your doctor about taking
a fish oil supplement.
First off, that’s an amazing reduction. Your doctor didn’t put you on any
medication?? Those are actually REALLY high TG's to start. What you had was
hypertriglyceremia. (big word) Most physicians would have put you on a
Fenofibrate medicine (Tricor, Fenoglide, Antara etc) These meds work
specifically on triglycerides.

i have no idea about liquid egg whites, but if you've lowered it over 400 points
already in 3 months, i say eat whatever the hell you want outside of breads
potatoes and pasta... enjoy your eggs and goodluck on the last 300 points
:)

Think you need to go to a doctor, and you need STOP having unprotected sex. 16
and pregant!! If this is how you normally write, I would suggest finishing
school first because the spelling and grammar is horrible!!!!!!!!! You have got
a lot of thinking to do. Make wise decisions and think before you act.

Good luck
Hives...no. But, everything else....yes. I am also 16 and I recently found out
that I am pregnant. I had the same symtoms as you. Well, accept for hives. But,
take a pregnancy test. Find out for sure.
My advice is to take a test, and STOP HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX WITH UR BOYFRIEND!
AT LEAST TAKE A PILL OR SOMETHING! AAAHHHHH!!!!

This had never bothered me before...?

but
today my mum said that the bottom of my feet where really red and before she
commented on how they are frezzing to touch or really clammy... are theese signs
of any problems or just nothing
no problems! maybe just bad circultion.

Pancreatic cancer!!!?

Pancreatic cancer :
What is the health isssue???
The pancreas is a vital organ that produces insulin. In the case of pancreatic
cancer, insulin production ceases. Pancreatic cancer is nearly impossible to
diagnose until it is in the very, very late stages because there are no symptoms
until then. For the most part it is untreatable and inoperable. Generally
speaking, a patient diagnosed with pancreatic cancer doesn't live a terribly
long time after that, usually a few weeks to a couple of months at best.
Stranger things have happened of course, and there are new treatments being
introduced all the time, but as a rule, pancreatic cancer is a very serious
diagnosis.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most painful cancers out there. Not only does it
cause great pain, it also will eat away your body. I lost my mom to this
horrible disease, but before it killed her, she lost both arms, then her legs,
then her nose crumbled off her face, then it started wreaking havoc on her
organs, breathing, liver quit functioning normally, kidneys, etc. To much
suffering, that left us in bewilderment.
check out this research group ....they have a message board and you can ask your
qustions about it
there.......http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/

What all do they do at a Birth Control exam.????

what all do they do???
does my mom have to be in the room???
can i go with out my parental unit(s)????
Your parents do not have to be there. They dont even have to know unless its on
their insurance of course. Usually they give you a breast exam and most of the
time they do a pap. I have known a few girls who said they didnt have to get a
pap. Depending on how old you are, I think it is a good thing to get a pap
before birth control just to make sure everything is good. Hope this helps!
My mum went with me because i was scared and nervous.

Im not sure how old you have to be to go on it without your parents knowing...

Im guessing you are asking what kinds of questions they do before they put you
on the pill ? Mine was horrible .i went to a male doctor and he weighed me and
told me to take off my top so he could see my breasts to see if i had any lumps.
they put the blood pressure thing on your arm and thats about it,

But now, i go to a female doctor for all my female things. Shes great. I just go
in there and say i need another prescription and thats it, im out within a few
mins.

Good luck! :)
i went in a virgin, so they didnt have to give me an exam.
but they usually dont let your parents in the room unless you really want them
there. however they dont let them in for the first like 5 minutes because they
ask personal questions.

Y do men jack off?

y not?
Because it feels good. Lessens tension. Weakens anxiety.

Oh yeah, because we can.
Everybody does it.
It feels good.
I'm a woman and I do it all the time.
It's human nature and perfectly natural.

What kind of yogurt's ?

do you like to buy
and eat.
i love to eat Danimals and Trix they're the best
Generally I buy Dannon Plain Nonfat yogurt. I like that it doesn't have the
added sugars and corn syrup other kinds to. I like to add fresh berries to it,
it is really good. Sometimes when I do by flavored yogurt, my favorite is
Stonyfield farm Organic fruit on the bottom. It has such a good flavor and is
lower in calories than any other fruit on the bottom I have seen (strawberry
only has 120 calories.) I would recommend either of those brands.
I LOVE the whipped. It tastes more like whipped cream than yogurt. Activia is
also good because it adds digestive enzymes (more than normal) I always look at
the sugar content too.

I also attached a blog of sorts that allowed for comments of people's favorite
kinds....
totally get yoplait- whipped is the best but there are a lot more like light if
youre going on a diet. There is also the lucerne brand

Can you???

can you loose weight by
exercising more but not changing your diet?
i want to loose weight - tighten up, but i dont want to change my diet. i am
willing to do exercise every day, but would it be enought?
Amount matters. If you are doing enough exercise and have enough muscle then
yes. But thats a low case scenario that applies only to a few, like professional
runners and swimmers.
You can lose weight by excersing alone of course but just jogging might not be
the answer for everyone, you might need to do some abs(which will help you slim
down in the midsection) But dieting can be easy though, just by cutting out soda
can help, you dont need to go overboard and stop eating desert. you need
something that burns calories at a good rate pretty much but just remember to
replace those calories with some thing good.
well it depends on what kind of diet ur on.
if you eat unhealthy food at least 3 times a week then
i don't think exercise will help you. you need to watch what
you eat as well.

answer please:

What should my ideal weight be?

okay so i've just recently joined up at a women's gym, i have an asessment tomorrow where they measure me weigh me set a goal... enywaiz i wanted to go in with a bit of an idea.
I'm 5 feet 2 inches weigh around 67 kilos. I was thinking of getting down to 47 kilos or would that be too thin? What should i weigh? any help is appreciated, thnx! :)xx
47 is great!

1. dont bank on the words 'fast' 'quick'....to stay safe, you shoudnt lose beyond 3 pounds of fat per week

2. start brisk walking 1-2 hrs a day

3. drink only water, lowfat milk and lots of green tea

4. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well..make sure you eat a good breakfast!

5. do lots of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your other efforts

6. get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring..or if you are at a gym, experiment all forms of cardio available and stick to all that you like

7. always push yourself n never give up!but get enough rest too...

8. be smart when eating out or at events/functions

9. dont trust myths like no food after 7pm...you have to stay nourished to lose fat,..the best you can do if you are scared to eat is perhaps
drink a glass of ice chocolate lowfat milk mixed with a tsp of instant softened oatmeal...

10. Stay focused on your goal and God bless you...
47 should be fine.

By the way, pick either metric or imperial. You're confusing.

Starting fresh... advice, please?

I have
been a D-I varsity athlete for the past three years. I'm "retiring", and I want
to start planning my own workouts. My sport has required heavy
lifting/fast-twitch muscle workouts. I want to slim down and build up my
endurance. I have never really trained without a prepared workout plan from a
coach, as I've been competing in this sport for nine years and have always been
on a competitive team growing up.

I want to build up my running endurance, continue weight-training with light
weights (toning), and build a strong core. I'm good with eating when I
discipline myself, and I enjoy working out.

Oh, and I'd like to avoid joining a gym--costly, and I only have two months of
summer va-cay!!

So, where do I start?

THANKS!
For a schedule all you have to do is go to:
http://coreperformance.com/

and click on the one week free trial button
It is an INCREDIBLE site and it asks you what your goal, is and you could say
weight loss and it creates a schedule and meal plan especially for your goal and
height and age....
And, you can put in how much you are willing to do each day and for like 2 or 3
days a week and it'll make the workout more intense or less depending on the
amount of time. THe meal planning is also good because it gives you a healthy
diet and it helps you work towards your goal.it will give you all sorts of
exercises that could involve the equiment you have or you might not even need
them. It has vidoes of everything it asks you to do...so you don't have to worry
about doing it wrong. I am also a runner(only in high school but for X-Country i
am the girls' varsity captain) and i use coreperformance.com to help me build up
my endurance and it helps me a lot it gives me energy without fat...and i feel
great. So, try it...what do you have to lose? It's free for the first week....so
just give it a try...you'll love it!!!!And, if you decide to keep it is only
about 10 dollars a month, and it is definelty worth it!!!!!!!

Good Luck! And I hope you reach your goal!!!I'm rooting for you!!!!!
Rena

I suffer from prickly heat and it is very uncomfortable and spoils my summer. Does anyone kno any treatments.?

I once
nearly had a heart attack from what was subsequently diagnosed as 'prickly heat'
- and a friend agreed it was one of the worst experiences of his life, when he
had an similar attack.
Anti-histamine tablets help - along with generous layers of high factor sun
screens.
I've also tended to find that whilst 'airier' - natural cotton-based shirts, etc
offer less protection against the sun's rays than those with a mix (man-made
fabrics).
Straw sun-hats help - and you might even consider a parasole/umbrella when it's
especially sunny or hot.
Hope some of this helps you enjoy a nice Summer.
Aloe Vera gel from Holland Barrett will cool and actively treat it. I've been
using for any burns for a while now and after-sun treatment so maybe because
prickly heat is blistery this should help or running under cold water.
You have to stay out of the sun for 24 hours if you get this, although I don't
suffer now because I am very cautious and wear sunblock and don't stay in it for
long periods.
My hands and feet are very sensitive to that in this weather. Try some of those
sports heat/ice packs from Boots - the reusable ones you can put in the freezer.
I find going to sleep with one under my feet and one in my hands works wonders.
Or at any other time during the day.
Piriton - it's an antihistamine. I found that the old fashioned anti-histamine,
which makes you sleepy, is the best one at getting rid of the rash.
Try Anti Histamine tablets.
It does help.

they are eggs, you have to wait until they hatch, and then kill
them.

Question about depression?

I have never
been diagnosed, but I feel like I'm stuck in a rut. No matter what kind of
'self' help I do, I am always sad, angry, and irritable. Sometime I have anxiety
mixed in with it too. I just no got health insurace, so do I need to go see my
physician first and she'll refer me or do they automatically prescribe you a
bunch of meds? I don't want to be doped up. Thanks
As a person who has struggled with clinical depression all my life, I would
strongly suggest you see a good psychiatrist NOT a general physician.
Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in psychology and can prescribe
medications. My psychiatrist has an excellent knowledge of medications and found
one (Paxil) that has worked for me for over 15 years. I take Paxil before I go
to bed at night so I don't feel 'doped up' during the day

Best of luck to you.
Your primary care doctor will most likely refer you to a psychiatrist instead of
treating you themself. I know that they use to treat people more frequently
themselves, but a doctor told me about a year ago that they got much stricter
about that. It sounds like you may need an anti-depressant or something and now
a days there are alot of different types of medicines. When you go to the doctor
or psychiatrist be sure to express your concerns about not wanting to feel doped
up and if they are a good, caring doctor they will take that into consideration
when deciding what medicine would be best for you. And if they give you
something that you end up not liking or having a problem with, don't just stop
taking it or give up. Alot of those types of medicines take awhile to get the
full benefit and even if you wait awhile and still do not get the rsults you
want or get bad side effects, they can try a new medicine for you. It may take a
few tries before you get what you want or need! Good luck!
If you're diagnosed with depression..they will give you an anti depressant.
Probably Zoloft,or Prozac.

Neither of them make you feel doped up,at least not me. I took Zoloft for a year
on and off when I was 11 for depression. (Keep in mind that sometimes anti
depressants *can* increase thoughts of suicide)

I hope you go see one, because it sounds like you are depressed. Good luck!

P.S-I went to the doctor when I was depressed, then they referred me to a
psychologist.

You can either find a place that deals with depression and other mental
illnesses or you can go to your doctor, either way will work..it is better than
getting no help at all.
Would you rather have the depression and anxiety you are having now or give it
at least a try on medication?
When diagnosed correctly and placed on the "Right" medications, you can feel
much better.
Would you mind emailing me with what State you live in and your age? I am
currently doing what I can with many different States in the U.S. to get
State/Government Assistance for people who cannot afford medical/dental/optical
insurance.
uniqueoneisme@yahoo.com
Please put subject line as: "Answers-Insurance"
First of all - the last thing you need, is someone telling you to snap out of
it. If you are asking the question you are already part way to recovery. For
myself, if I am feeling really low or even depressed, I try to take my mind off
my feelings with music or try to busy myself. Try to remember- there is always
someone worse off than yourself- and if you do reach "rock bottom" -then the
only way is up. Sometimes a good book can be uplifting too-even if you have
already read it before.
I really hope this helps- sometimes just talking to someone close is enough and
not all doctors prescribe drugs- a good one might have another solution for you,
or maybe decide that short term you do need medication.
Best of luck, I will Pray for you....God Bless..... love Janet.
antidepressants will not leave you feeling "doped up"...you might experience
some weird side effects to begin with but they go away after a few weeks.
Antidepressants really help...if you find the right one or a combination of
them...They will give you energy, motivation, a reason to continue...and you
might also be referred to a therapist to talk about what's bothering you...or to
be taught how to change the way you think.
Good Luck

I just turned 17 and I was wondering if I could still grow? I'm currently 6' 1/4".?

5 months ago I hit 6'0. Then 3 months
ago I grew a 1/4" then stopped. This happened last year when I stopped for about
6 months then grew again. For the last 3 months I haven't grown. Does this mean
I'm done or could I continue to grow to 6'1 and stop? I currently wear a size 14
shoe.
your only 17 your still growing you will easily reach 6ft 1in
The human body grows until around 25 according to what I learned in my Biology
classes. But most of the growing has to be initiated by you, like if you want to
get taller or become more muscular, you run, or do Tae Kwon Do, or lift weights.
I wouldn't worry over the size, I think 6-7 is average. The shoe thing is kinda
random, every part of your body grows by itself, it doesn't grow because another
part does, even though it usually seems like it.
You may be done OR you may not. Technically, you could still grow for approx.
another 12-18 months.
dude u can grow untill 24 25 so you will prolly be 6.3 6.4 take it
easy

I've cried all day..Whats good for swollen eyes? So when I wake up Monday morning my eyes will be okay.?

A good night's
sleep and some cold packs around the eyes. Do not use chemical packs. The
chemicals could leak and cause even more problems. Take a towel or wash cloth
and put some cold or ice water on it. Or you can use an Ice Bag or a pack of
frozen peas (wrap it in a towel first). Don't keep it on for more that 20
minutes, though.
tea bags pour hot water on them, then put them in the freezer until they are
cold then put them on yah eyes or the fastest way is hemmeroid cream lol but it
works the best!!!!!!
Take a Benadryl..it will reduce swelling and keep putting a cold wash cloth on
every so often throughout the night. I hope tommorrow will be a better day.
Place slices of cuccumber over your eyes and try to relax, it calms down swollen
eyes.

I don't know what to do?

I don't know why,
but I just want to curl up into a ball and cry my eyes out. I feel so sad. My
stomach hurts and its taking everything I have not to just start sobbing on the
spot (I can't I'm in the room with other people). I'm just so sad. I don't know
what to do.
Well, if you're on your period, that could be a reason. Otherwise, is there
something bothering you? That could cause anxiety or depression.
dpression or anxiety..
Guilt or depression!

I'm depressed and sick of life...but I can't afford counseling and I won't tell anyone in my family

What would you do
if you were me? My family wouldn't even listen bc they think I have it all
together and that I'm not sensitive. Funny how the ones who show the least
emotion are usually the weakest...idk. My future is bleak. If it ended, it would
be a relief bc I wouldn't have to deal with anything anymore. I'm useless
anyway.
There are plenty of FREE support groups in whatever town/city you live in --
this I assure you. There are also online (free) support chat rooms and groups.
If you are in school, talk to a guidance counselor. If you are in college, there
are free counselors and groups to attend. Many therapists have a sliding scale
fee that you might be able to afford. You don't have to have money to get help.
You just need to do a little research into what's available out there. Try
contacting www.nami.org for more leads. Good luck!
are you in school? can you talk to counselors at school? how about friends? have
you actually tried to talk to your family?

i have felt similarly b4. i've turned to family and school counselors mainly...

i think you are selling your family short...have a heart to heart with your
parents, or even a relative, they love you and will try to help however they
can.

hang it there. life is tough, but i think you will find that it is worth living,
very much so

feel better and gl! never give up and never surrender!
Your not useless unless you give up on life, tell your family, they will
understand, if not, tell a Catholic priest and he will tell you whats what, and
will probably suggest some ways to overcome it. If you need any more help please
feel free to e-mail.

Your in my prayers.

God bless you in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Amen.
You can get therapy on a sliding fee scale.
just talk to someone it works trust me i feel for you
Talk to someone, i know u dont know me but im always willing to listen when
people need to talk. i sent you an email

I am 12 years old and in grade 7 i am 4ft 10in and i weigh 95 is that normal??

yeah, thats perfectly healthy! : )
according to your BMI (body mass index) you are almost underweight
http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adul...
i checked your information on a bmi (body mass index) calculator and you are in
"normal range." this means you are perfect the way you are! don't worry about
it, you're average. not to skinny and not to big. hope this helps!
Yes, your BMI (Body Mass Index) is of 19.9, (you can find calculators online for
future reference).

Less than 18 is underweight
18 to 25 is healthy
25 to 30 is overweight
30 and over is obese

Congrats!
totally normal. one of my friends is exactly the same age, weight, and height
and she is perfectly healthy.
Yes, it is normal but if you want to gain more weight, I suggest you to eat more
and exercise more.
for sure. you really cant let a chart tell you whats a heathy weight. im 16 and
only weigh 103. but im perfectly healthy.
Yes your practically a midget sounds normal to me.
A doctor has an average weight/height/age graph chart. Just talk to your doctor
to get the real answer.
Yes you will grow bigger.
Perfect! Keep up the healthy work!
Sounds great!
yep!
definitley my sister is taller then that and weighs less than
that

I'm thinking about letting my wife message my?

prostate. I've heard that it is supposed to feel really good. Any
advice? How should I ask her?
Just be straight forward and open about it, tell her you read about it some
where, perhaps the Internet(?), and you would like to try it to see if it is
something you might like. If she agrees to consider it, both of you should read
up on it, and don't limit your reading to just sexual sources, there is medical
data on this too, it is believed that occasional prostrate massage (or milking)
can reduce the risks of prostrate cancer. Once you both are well read on the
subject, go slow, you may find it a little awkward at first, but with some
patience and understanding it may become something that you both enjoy doing!
I spent over a year trying to convince my boyfriend to try that because I
thought he would like it and we both like to experiment with new things...
finally he decided to give it a try and now he LOVES it. He owns two different
"toys" for that purpose and uses them almost every time he masturbates (we're in
a long-distance relationship...). He says prostate orgasms are so much better
than normal orgasms that they're not even comparable. I can confirm that too by
the way he moans when I'm massaging his prostate... I can't get him to moan
doing anything else :P

So, long story short, it's quite possible that this is something she's always
wanted to do to you and just been afraid to ask. Just give it a try and see what
she says!
If you really want this you just have to come out with it. The biggest obstacle
is how to get her to penetrate the anus, it's kind of a hard topic to discuss.
Maybe rent road trip and when the nurse does it to that guy, just say, you know
sweetie, I'm kind of curious what that feels like, would you do that to me?

Advice of how to? Just lots of lube and a glove!
Wow. I find it amazing in itself that your prostate can receive messages. I
messaged mine, but i haven't gotten a message back. I don't think my prostate is
on Verizon like I am.
Buy yourself an Aneros and go at it yourself for a while. Then when and if she

What message is she going to send it? You're weird.
Fine if u want something goin up ur butt.

If you start rubbing a guys inner thigh, what does it do for him sexually wise?

Well, if it were MY inner thigh, you'd would
have succeeded it turning me on, BIG TIME! This is an area on my body that when
caressed and massaged will super charge my hornyness!
My boyfriend just says it tickles :)

On a guy that wasn't ticklish there, I would guess that it would probably give
him a chill and turn him on, but that would be hard for me to say as my only
experience in that department is with my current boyfriend :)
He may start to get an erection which you can see and/or feel.

I dislocated my shoulder almost 3 years ago why now do I still have bad pain there?

It also feels like it sometimes tryes
to dislocate. What shall I need to do?
During a dislocation of a shoulder many issues may occur. You might have torn
the rotator cuff which is allowing chronic subluxation (partial dislocation) of
the joint. You may have impinged a nerve, or you may have irritated and
inflammed the bursa causing chronic bursitis.

This shoulder, if it is causing the issues you are describing needs to be
examined by a physician, PA or Nurse Practitioner, but preferably at an
orthopedic clinic. It is likely they will order an MRI of the affected shoulder
to determine the problem.

Following the examination and diagnostic study, you might need an arthroscopic
repair, or you might just need rest and physical therapy.

In addition to working with orthopedic patients since 1978, I have had 16
shoulder dislocations myself (counting 9 on the right and 7 on the left). You
need to be evaluated.
Long term problems with joints is a very common occurance. Joints (ligaments
especially) are quite avascular - poorly circulated - and stretching and
scarring is comon. Once a shoulder dislocates, a reoccurance is also easily
possible (especially if you didn't have strengthing exercises and physical
therapy afterwards).

An ortho (=bone) pedic is a physician specialized in the muscle-skeletal system
of the human body. You should see a health care provider and watch that you do
not expose yourself to extreme forces on the previously injured side (a repeat
dislocation with aggravation of the injury is quite possible).
follow up with your orthopedist.

How many weight watcher points is a kitkat chunky??

Chocolate bars are usually 250-300 calories, high in fat, and low in
fiber, therefore they are usually around 5-7 point on Weight Watchers. Based on
my knowledge of a regular Kit Kat, I would say about 5 points. Good luck on
Weight Watchers!
Too much!

I am diabetic. Please tell me what to do when the blood sugar is low or when high. When to take Insulin.?

Some times.
mostly in the early morning I have difficulty reading. My sugars are anywhere
from 65 to 165. When it is low I just eat slices of bread and or drink orange
juice. When it is high I drink lots of water. I am suppose to inject insulin but
I do not know at which point. Please help.
please ask your doctor these questions and don't take a chance on something so
important. You are talking about the welfare of your life, so I wouldn't just
take the advice of just anyone.
You really MUST check this out with your doctor. There are many different types
of insulin, and they have different speeds at which they operate, as well as for
how long they operate.

If your blood sugar is below 72 mg/dL you need to eat as you are on the verge of
suffering a hypoglycemic attack.

A blood sugar reading of 165 mg/dL is only a little high, but still high enough
to cause complications to set in if you keep it at that level. Obviously, raised
blood sugar levels, and possibly insulin resistance is the reason why your
doctor feels that you need insulin injections. (I'm presuming here that you're a
type 2 diabetic that, probably started out by taking tablets when you were first
diagnosed. If not, then I apologise for jumping to inappropriate conclusions.)

Your doctor is the only one who can advise you at what time you're supposed to
be taking insulin injections as s/he will know all about you and which type of
diabetes you have.

I wish you the best of luck in learning more about your condition.
For me 65 would be borderline low and 165 would be just a little high. If I am
slightly low I'll eat something but not much. If I'm a little high I drink 10
ozs of water and walk 10-15 minutes. Wait about 30 minutes or so and then check
sugar level and administer insulin. Thats what works best for me but I also get
lots of exersize and find myself low sometimes later. I just wish I could find
something to help with the weight gain. I am starving and if I don't starve I
gain weight.
when your blood sugar is too low dont take insulin because it will lower your
blood sugar even more causing to go into a coma you should eat something wuth
lots of sugar in it and carry glucose tablets with you.when your sugar is too
high then take insulin.. or talk to your doctor they would tell you more stuff
You should talk to your physician. Most have a "sliding" scale of insulin doses
based on their blood sugar levels.
ask your doctor and find out what your correction ratio is and when you should
start correcting.
what i do is take 1 unit for every 50 over 150, i take humolog. your doctor
should of given you a sliding scale

How can i stop being so self

i'm pretty
self-conscious about my thighs.. like they can make me insecure especially if
they're big.. i always check in the mirror to see if they look big before i
leave the house. it's like i HAVE to. how can i stop and just be happy/fine with
my thighs no matter what?!
I honestly have the same problem. It's like I don't want to look but I do it
anyways. My best advice in taking a step to feeling better about yourself is to
maybe go walking for 20 minutes everyday or every other day. If your not happy,
set a reasonable goal and you'll be amazed at what you can do. The little
changes can really make a difference and you'll just feel so much better. Don't
bet up on yourself either. When you can look in the mirror and be happier or get
into those jeans you have always dreamed about is one of the best rewards you
could ever give yourself.
big thights are HOTT!!! you should learn to accept yourself and love for who you
are. just cos u dot like it, doenst mean someone else wonyt like it!!
90% of guys like it thicky thick
You may have a OCD..See a doctor.
welll you could do work outs to slim them downnn haha

Can a doctor be liable for a bad circumcision?

My son is now 3 and from the minute his circumcision healed I
noticed something just didn't seem right so I addressed it with the pediatrician
several times. Everytime he would assure me that there was nothing to be
concerned about and it would look more normal as he grows. Instead of the
circumcision beginning to look better it only seemed to get worse so the
pediatrician finally referred me to a pediatric urologist. He not only agreed
that the doctor messed his circumcision up but my son now has to undergo a
surgery lasting almost and hour to repair the problem. The sad thing is the same
thing has happened with my 2 year old but his is not as bad, he will be seeing
the urologist soon, yes the same doctor did them both. Can the doctor who did
the oringinal circumcision be held liable?
Yes, a doctor can be liable for a bad circumcision. They're also supposed to
give you all the pros and cons, potential benefits and risks, before you're
allowed to consent to any procedure. If you didn't get any info prior to having
your sons circumcised, you can hold the physician who did it liable for that as
well. That can be serious malpractice there.

Too many people often assume that it's correct when a mistake may have been
done, because the doctor assured them. Mistakes do happen, and more often than
one would think.
If you had this happen to your first son, why did you put your second son
through it?

While I suppose you might be able to pursue some legal action, I'm not quite so
sure because you signed that waiver saying you WANTED the circumcision done. So,
hey, you got what you asked for and everybody knows that circumcision has risks.

I'm glad you learned your lesson, but it's unfortunate that it had to be at the
expense of not one, but both of your sons' penises.
You could certainly have a claim for Medical Malpractice against the doctor /
medical center / hospital that performed the circumcizion. Contact your
insurance company for advice.

Now this part is just my opinion but the risks associated with circumcizion far
outweigh any apparent benefits, so I just hope if you have any more kids you
won't opt for this unnecessary procedure again.
OF COURSE.... look, as many ridiculous, yet winning law suits prove, doctors can
be held liable for tripping over your own shoe lace in the hospital parking lot.
sounds like you have a real case though, go for it.
Yes you would hope so, but coming from a guy, why circumcise your poor boys to
start with, leave the foreskin there and let them have some fun
I think so.
i dont see why not if i was you i would go mad and rip him to shreads
I think that here in the UK it may be different with regard to the law, but I
suspect that unless negligence can be proved there's not much hope. Did the same
person 'do' your other son?
May I say though that you are a good example of a family where it can be seen
that circumcision, unless on medical grounds, does go wrong even in these times
and your actions add weight to those of us against this 'abuse' of our sons,
I sincerely hope that you can get things sorted out, but I would hate to have to
suffer the pain and discomfort your sons must now endure.
I would hope the "doctor" would be held liable, but you will have to remember
any settlement belongs to the victim, it is his penis after all that got
mutilated. I am glad to hear that you have learned a lesson, it is unfortunate
that your sons have to live with the cost of your education (a warning to other
parents contimplating circumutilation)

Please use your education to help end this horrid practice, your sons are not
the first to be maimed and sadly I must say they will not be the last.

I sincerly hope things turn out good for your sons and for you.
Yes probably, but the issue is more your fault than the doctors to a certian
degree.
You never should have had that child mutilated in the first place.
So the doctor will claim that you requested the mutilation be done. Although he
botched the cut, he would claim that you wanted to purchase the mutilation
process and the child did not need the mutilation to begin with, but you are on
your own and now the child will have to suffer the rest of his life because you
wanted to cut off part of his penis.
Live with it because the child will have too.
Unfortunately, you probably don't have a case unless the doctor failed to give
you informed consent or negligence. There is a good amount of case precedence.
Here is an example:
http://www.ndcourts.gov/court/opinions/2...

When you signed the consent form for the circumcision, you also signed that you
understood there is a possibility of complications and unsatisfactory results.

But feel free to sue, anything that will stop infant circumcision is a step in
the right direction.
Absolutely. Don't take this wrong, but as a gay man I have seen a penis where
the head had somewhat of a skin attachment from the shaft to the head of the
penis. It actually looked like a space yet skin connected the two. It was most
unusual and this gentleman was self conscientious so much that he wanted to have
surgery. I don't know if he did or not. I hope you can sue the surgeon. Did he
pull up the foreskin too much and disfigure the head ? I would contact an
attorney for advise but my guess would be yes. It's no different than breast
surgery that has gone awry. Go for it and good luck.
It would depend on the laws where you live, why the circumcisions ended up that
way. Mainly, if the doctor was actually negligent or not. If that could be
shown, then yes you could try and seek compensation.

There are those "no win no fee" lawyers out there who sometimes take on cases
like this, I would imagine if you look in the phone book there would be some who
would give you a free consultation anyway to determine if there's a case or not.

There are some terrible side effects, that unfortunately count as "normal
complications" from circumcision, so what happened to your sons could have been
mentioned as a potential outcome when you signed the consent form. I'm glad
you've now learnt that circumcision is a bad idea and hope you won't do it to
future sons and will warn others off that doctor/the procedure if you know any
friends planning to see him or whatever.

Who discovered the West Nile Virus?

I know
it was first found in Uganda in the early 1900s but I need to know who
discovered it. It's for my Biology Honors class. I'm having to do a report on
the West Nile Virus, and it is required that we find out who discovered the
virus we chose. All of the books and websites I've seen say it was discovered by
doctors. I really need to know who specifically found it. Thanks!!
I couldn't find a name either but, I did find the UVRI name.

The West Nile virus was first identified by virologists from the Uganda Virus
Research Institute (U.V.R.I.) in 1937, in the West Nile district of Uganda,
along the Albert Nile near the border with the Congo, where it was making people
sick.

Can i get some type of birth control with out a pap smear?????

just reading about it i dont think i would feel comfortable
with getting one done
If you can't get a pap smear then you haven no business having sex. This is part
of being an adult woman, you must take care of your health and it is important
to get regular pelvic exams, especially if you are sexulally active.
Also if you do not know he answer to this question you should not be having
sex... Have you heard of condoms? Although you should always use condoms even if
you are on hormonal birth control for STD protection I would still say you need
a back up form of protection
You just have to not worry about it, it's really not that bad as long as you're
mature and responsible enough to handle it. Your doctor has seen many vaginas,
so don't feel self-conscious about yours. It may make you feel more comfortable
to see a female doctor, I know that helped me a lot. Also, the doctor does
everything to make sure it is not awkward. She does not allow for awkward
silences and pauses, and explains what she is going to do before she does it. It
goes by quickly, and it's definitely worth it to get on some birth control.

Like that other person said, if you do not feel comfortable with a doctor
looking down there, you should not be comfortable with having boys look down
there and you have no business being sexually active. Just be responsible and
tell yourself it will be worth the fifteen minute physical exam to get on birth
control.
I just got one done and i was so freaked out before and i thought it was going
to be akward and really uncomfortable, but it ended up being alright and it
really wasnt bad at all. Just go to a womans clinc or to a woman doctor to get
it done. And it doesnt hurt you will just feel slight pressure. But if your
having sex and going in for bc your most likely going to have to get it done.
And your definatly going to have to get one done if your getting BC for your
period.
Yeah you can go to walmart and get some condoms...that the only thing you can
get without a pap.
But you want a pap to check for other things ....like cervical cancer...Believe
me no woman I know that jumped for joy and ran to her OB/GYN for a pap smear.
But if you are responsible then you will do the right thing.
Pap smears are NOTHING! They take 30 seconds and it is done. Female health is
super important so get over the fear and get it done. There is no shame or pain
involved. If you are willing to let a guy down there, then you should be more
than o.k. with a doctor doing his job. Good luck!
No you shouldn't be able to get birth control without a full exam and yes, that
includes that pap smear. Keep in mind doctors have seen everything, you have
nothing to worry about.
I never had a pap when I was on birth control. I was however only 12 years old.
although they're not a big deal, i got the depo shot w/o a pap...but thats
usually only if you're a virgin at the time.

i can live with my length but i
don't like my girth. isn't true the girth gets bigger as you get older? (sorry

almost 6 in, but I'm already shaving, and am also really tall (6-7). you will
definitely grow more, and remember that you're bigger than most of your peers.
don't stress about your size.
Don't worry, a talented tongue is more important.
the average is 5.5 so your good bro u still got plenty of growing left too
you'll prolly hit 8in by the time your done good luck

Weightloss: Excercising/Dieting for Type1 Diabetics?

Hi, I'm a new mom and haven't really lost much of my pregnancy
weight. I'm desperate to lose atleast 10 lbs by July 20th, for a wedding- but
nothing I do seems to help-especially because I just became Type 1 Diabetic very
recently.

Does anyone know easy and efficient diet/excercise I can do with a 6 month old
baby running around? This weight gain is seriously beginning to effect my
self-image...I've never had a problem losing weight before- I just feel
helpless.
I would worry more about taking care of my diabetes than my weight. You need to
discuss these things with your dr. If the insulin you are taking causes weight
gain ask him/her to change you to one that doesn't.
The best answer in your case is to talk to a diabetic nutritionist. Being a full
time mom I really doubt you'll have ample time to work out. Learning to eat
right and PORTION CONTROL is a huge factor in diabetic weight control. Also,
make sure this diabetes isnt pregnancy related. Many times women become diabetic
while pregnant and drop the diabetes shortly after child birth. It could happen.
Goodluck.
Walking is one of the most popular and widely recommended forms of physical
activity for people with diabetes. It’s easy, relaxing and can be done
practically anywhere. Most important, it’s highly effective at controlling blood
glucose levels. Still, there are important things for people with diabetes to
consider before taking off.
and keep away carb glucose foods from your diet.

What do you think about anti

For people who
need them, they are indispensable. People are happier, sleep less, socialize
better and are more balanced.

-MM
I know people that take them and they really help a lot. It's a coping devise
and not meant to correct all your problems, but it helps you take more control
of your life and your feelings and lets you manage your life.
You still have problems and need to talk to someone about them, but they do help
in many ways.
A lot of people are embarrassed to take them or admit they need some extra help,
but the longer you wait the more depressed you will become.....and the longer it
will take you to get your life back on track
you cant orgasm when youre on Zoloft.
i think thats pretty damn depressing
i think they are good..my mom used to take them and she was so much better when
she was on them than when she wasnt..
love them
