ok so if u like sit out in the sun all say i
sunburn. if i put lotion all over a sunburn it goes really tan after it heals.
is this a good way to tan??
Not really, people with lighter skin get burned easier and are at a higher risk
of skin cancer. The more burned you get, the higher the risk your at. I have
similar fair skin that just wants to burn when I'm in the sun. But you dont need
to be tan to be beautiful, society is screwed up in thinking that way. If you
really want a tan, use tanning lotions. Is a tan really worth skin cancer down
the road?
Thats the only way I can tan, I have very fair skin as well, when I get a
sunburn it usually turns into a tan after a couple of days, but you have to
apply lotion often even after the sun burn goes away or it will just peel off.
You also have to be committed to going to the beach or being in the sun very
frequently, then you should become darker.
try going to a tanning bed i go all the time but if you fair skinned start out
with a little amount of time in there like 7 min. and then as you notice you tan
getting darker go up..... 7, 10, 13, 15 sun burning is BAD FOR YOU. it leaves
tissue damage like BAD DAMAGE SO DON'T DO THAT. you can also try a spray tan,
but try to get a Base tan 1st so it wont be so obvious.
No sun burning is not good. Sun tanning is still not good. With your skin type,
you are at a greater risk for skin cancer. Check out Olay's or Jergens new
lotions with color. Not a rub on tan, but a glow that is naturally looking.
It is definitely not. Use tanning spray or something like it if u don't want to
go to the beach and get a nice sun tan

Why does running help lose more weight than other exercises???
it doesn't necessarily
Cardio (running) is just what is means...for your cardiovascular system. When
you reach your target heart rate you are starting to burn fat.
When you burn fat with out adding so much muscle you lose the weight a lot
faster. However, it is easier to come back on. If you add strength training to
your workouts you will be able to sustain the weight loss a longer period of
time.
Running is a great way to just get your heart healthier and to lose those extra
few. If you do cardio 30 minutes a day, you lower your risk of heart disease and
obesity.
Running’s good because it also strengthens joints due to impact.
BUT swimming is also very good because it get lots of muscles working together
meaning more energy is being used. Probably better in my opinion.
well not necessarily. Intensive high repetition weight lifting will actually
burn off more fat and muscle then running (depending of course on factors of
routine patterns as well to ensure your body is continually challenged).
running tends to suppress the appetite while other forms of exercise stimulate
it. so you tend to eat less
It doesnt all excercise in some form will reduce weight if you keep it up.A
general all round fitness program is the best both for your health and weight.
because usually your heart rate is much higher

VAGINAL hygiene? women ONLY?
hey ive notice
a slight odor down there DURING MY MENISTRAL even tho i shower every morning ,
so now i shower at night also, is there any way or trick i can keep my vaginal
area freasher, iv'e heard about feminine products i just would like to know what
you women would like to say. thanks
Some times when you menstruate it does smell its pretty normal. During your
period the bacteria cultures in your vagina can increase causing an odor. If it
doesnt go away after your period goes away then it can be a yeast infection or
vaginitis. Oh and dont use too many hygiene products on your vagina. That can
also cause an imbalance of the good bacteria in your vagina with the bad and
also cause a yeast infection. Just some regular soap and water 2 times a day
would be fine
honey its normal that you have slight odor during menstruation because the blood
are the one causing it... the only thing you gotta do is was it always but you
have to be careful in choosing a vaginal wash because it can alter the pH of
your vaginal。
try using Summer's Eve femine wash, it will help to rid of the bad (smelling)
bacteria and keep you fresh and clean... I started using it about a year ago,
and i have never had a problem after that.
try using the vaginal cleansing wipes when you go to the bathroom
You can use scented pads if you're not sensitive to that kind of thing. It's
normal... menstrual blood smells bad.
Please do not use douch. Douch can cause more problems then not using. Try
taking a baking soda bath.

What kind of disorder is this?
ever since
november to december, my aunt moved to a new house in taiwan and right then she
began having emotional and psychological problems...she's on anti-depressants
now and can't go to sleep without them..my family is very worried b/c this has
happened so suddenly and my dad does not believe she is depressed but that
someone is controlling her..we just talked to her on the phone yesterday
night..she is usually very strong and assertive however her attitude is now
completely opposite...i was a little afraid talking to her..she sounded very
passive, scared, and weak...i panicked when the middle of a few words she
suddenly said goodbye...but just last week she was a little stronger, and said
she really wants to make an effort to get better but she somehow feels like she
can't..and this week she worsened. she was frantic on her first sentence to my
mom, said she's terrified bc she
This sounds a good bit like an adjustment disorder with mixed emotional
features. Her symptoms of anxiety mixed with depression (and possibly some
paranoia) are becoming severe. Her medication clearly is NOT working. It is
important that your aunt contact her psychiatrist to let him/her know that the
medication is not effective. A dosage adjustment and/or medication change is
likely in order.
Hang in there,
~M~
It could be her medicine..she needs to talk toa a doctor or therapist. This
sounds like a strange case to me, but if you ask me I would ask her to come and
live with you, if thats possible. It sounds like shes in a time of great need,
so be supportive and stay aware of whats going on.
~Danielle
It can be a lot of things. First comes to mind depression over anxiety disorder
or OCD, or the opposite anxiety disorder over depression. You say it started
when she moved to Taiwan. It's possible that she started to feel lonely and it
started some kind of depression. My anxiety disorder started when I first went
to a holiday without my family. You're talking about insanity but insanity is
something totally different. "Insane" people do not try to get better because
they can't know there is something wrong with them. Your aunt has a
psychological "disorder". Be as supportive as patient as you can. Both you and
your family.
It's severe depression, perhaps with psychotic features (paranoia), or at least
that what your description sounds like to me. Moving may have triggered or made
it worse. In any case, her antidepressant is not the problem. The problem as far
as the antidepressant goes is that it is not working. She or her husband need to
call her psychiatrist and get her in for an appt. No one on the Internet can say
what's going on with any certainty.

Diet and exercise problem?
Hey there, so i
am very unhealthy with my body right now. D; I am doing a running plan right
now: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/... But that's about all I'm doing,
how else can I get some more exercise for me so I can drop this weight, I want
to drop about 20 or so pounds, but another problem I Have is that I love to eat,
i eat even when I'm not hungry. How do I come over these two things? A) HOw can
I stop eating when I'm not hungry? And B) HOw can I get more exercise inbetween
my running?
For a schedule all you have to do is go to:
http://coreperformance.com/
and click on the one week free trial button
It is an INCREDIBLE site and it asks you what your goal, is and you could say
weight loss and it creates a schedule and meal plan especially for your goal and
height and age....
And, you can put in how much you are willing to do each day and for like 2 or 3
days a week and it'll make the workout more intense or less depending on the
amount of time. THe meal planning is also good because it gives you a healthy
diet and it helps you work towards your goal.it will give you all sorts of
exercises that could involve the equiment you have or you might not even need
them. It has vidoes of everything it asks you to do...so you don't have to worry
about doing it wrong. I am a runner and i use coreperformance.com to help me
build up my endurance and it helps me a lot it gives me energy without fat...and
i feel great. So, try it...what do you have to lose? It's free for the first
week....so just give it a try...you'll love it!!!!
And, for the eating problem, I have it too...don't worry about it here's what
you do:
-drink a lot of ice cold water......it makes you feel full so you don't feel
like eating any more
-if you feel the need to chew something(like i do) get a lot of ice cubes and
just chew on them...you don't gain calories and you are practically eating and
hydrating yourself at the same time!
And, for the exercise in between your running, you don't need it, like i said
above i am a runner and you are suipposed to have one or two days in between
your running week to give your muscles a chance to rest, or you could get an
injury to your muscles. and just follow the coreperforamnce guide and you'll be
healthy and you will have gained muscle so you will fee healthy and
fit.......just in your extra time stretch to prevent injury..if you get an
injury from over exercise you will not be able to exercise and that is when
you'll get out of shape....so your fine with your plan
Good Luck!

How come I have nightmares often?
I don't know why but I have nightmares every other night. Nothing really bad has ever happened to me but I can't seem to stop having nightmares. There is one about the end of the world that I have often that makes me wake up in a cold sweat. Is this a disorder, can I have medication for this, or can I just stop these nightmares by myself?
Nightmares are just images and things mixed together in your mind and projected while you sleep. Also, things you see, hear, or smell while you sleep or right before you go to sleep can influence what you dream about. If you maybe light some nice smelling candle or spray a nice air freshener before you go to bed it will help. You can even try watching a funny movie or listening to peaceful music. But, sometimes people have bad dreams and it just cant be helped. So, I hope that I helped in some way. GOOD LUCK!
you are having nightmares becuase soemthing happend to you a dramatic change that did tramatize you even if you dont realize it its something that happend and was outta your control so that is how you react to it and boom you ahve nightmares they will go away eventually get out more and have fun!
they could be caused by meds you are already on---or your dream can mean something traumatic that just happened in your life....get a psychiatrist and they will help you........lot of good sleep meds out there that you won't remember a thiing when you wake up......see a psych doc.
I'm 27, and it has taken a long time to become aware of nightmares. Try to train yourself to get out of them. Be aware that it is not real, and nothing can cause harm or pain. If you are still in it, confront whatever is scaring you, and it will go away.

Arthritis of the hip?
Is there anything you
can do to alleviate the ache down the leg from arthritis in the hip? Doctor just
said 'press on'
Ask for a referral to an orthopaedic surgeon, for x rays. If your GP refuses,
see a different doctor. You may require a resurfacing...it's a simple enough
operation, and still leaves the option open to total hip replacement in the
future. I suffered for years, sleeping with a pillow between me legs, taking
pain killers etc. I eventuallt persuaded my GP that the pain was affecting my
quality of life. I had a resurfacing operation and was on my feet (with
crutches) the following day, the relief from pain was immediate - just had to do
post op exercises etc. Just a brilliant op.
Was back in work pain free within ten weeks.
Try to keep your legs slightly apart. I find it helps to sleep with my legs
slightly raised if I am lying on my back - I bought a special wedge shaped
pillow for this. It also helps if you lie on your side (good side) to have a
pillow between your knees to keep your pelvis and hips 'square' I also have a
thick duvet over my mattres but under my bottom sheet, which I lie on, this
stops any presure from the matterss and was recommended to me by a Pain
Management Specialist. When my pain is exceptionally bad, I place a hot water
botle on my hip as the heat helps.
Try to rest as much as possible. Do you take pain relief? If not ask your
doctor. I struggled for years before anyone listened, ended up having mine
replaced when I was 37, for me it was too late, the arthritis has spread into my
pelvis and down my leg, thus meaning my replacement is slightly unstable!
Good luck, I know how frustrating this pain is

MACA is a Genius, or a person who has been through it all. I have been through
it all. Remeber that doctors are people that used to care, but have now become
business men who deal with thousands of clients. The way they see it is if it
get's really, really bad then they will find out about it sooner then later.
They will have a nurse make you feel like your getting good attention by asking
all kinds of questions, taking your blood pressure and telling you to lay down.
Then there's the doctor who is overworked, tired and tired and tired and doesn't
give a damn after doing the same thing for 15 years.
On the other hand you have only one patient to deal with, and that's you. You
deal with that patient 24 hours a day 7 day's a week. If the doctor tries to
tell you to lick your wound then be agressive and tell him in an agressive
manner, "LOOK I AM IN A CHRISIS HERE AND I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP, WTF, G Damn
It". Sometimes a good *** chewing will wake them out of their somber.
Well hes right in a way, you should keep moving, you could try glucosamine and
chondroitin, they can help a lot with joint problems, as can cod liver oil, go
to Holland Barrett see what they have for you, do a little gentle excercise,
swimming is great, as you dont stress your joints in the water, ask if you can
go on the waiting list for a hip replacement, but if you are under 40 they
usually wont do it as it only lasts 20 years and you will have to get it done
again in the future.
anti inflammatories and hot baths. that works for me. your doctor should be more
helpful than that. If medication doesn't help you he/she should refer you to a
pain management clinic. go back for a second opinion, there are loads of
treatments for the pain caused by arthritis.
my hubby has that you should use a ice bag or a hot water bottle, he that's my
hubby says if he sits around to long its murder and gets stiff but if he trots
into town slowly it relieves it. i get sting nettles without the flowers and
cook them mix them up with spinach this will help as it has iron and alkaline to
stop the bones getting brittle.

I am always hearing horror stories about the Hospital Emergency Rooms. They say unless you are the President of the United States you will have to wait for ever to see anyone. And once you are seen they are rude and will keep you in the hallway for hours while the over worked doctors take care of hundreds of other patients, most without insurance or a legal right to work in America.
Is it really that bad in your hometown Hospitals emergency room?
I tried to go see my doctor but because I'm a new patient. I changed doctors because of a move and they wouldn't see me because I need a new patient appointment so I had to go to the ER. I was having trouble breathing and it turns out that I had bronchitis. I waited at least a half hour before someone saw me. I was there for a good 2 hours. It was not busy! I went during work. The person that signed me in was kind of rude and was busy complaining about having to work because it was a holiday. Patriots Day. Once I got to the room then I had to wait for another 20 minutes but the doctor was great. The nurses were a bit cold, definitely lacking in bedside manner.
I have noticed diminished quality of care in the past 20 years. The costs have gone up exponentially but the care has gone down dramatically. I can only wonder where we are going. Can it get a lot worse??? I'm a healthy person. TG! But I won't be young forever. But the powers that be want to continue to ignore the problem because that always makes real problems disappear.
No. But, I live in a small town.
Most of the problems are in huge public hospitals in large cities. 'Course, there are always the exception. And, since many use ERs for really trivial matters, the staff tends to get pretty cynical, and patients can be made to wait as sort of punishment for system abuse. But, for true emergencies, 99% of ERs function well.
In Australia, we are not charged to go to the emergency room if we have our medicare card with us, if you are not breathing well or having chest pains they are very quick, if you can sit and wait they will put everyone more urgent in front of you. I have an asthmatic daughter and we have never waited more than 5 minutes in cases like that.
i got into a room almost immediately, but it took about 45 min until i seen the doctor...and it took THREE different people to start an IV in me...all i can say is its a darn good thing they taped that IV on my arm good because i was ready to rip it out and go home. i was so uncomfortable and cold.
I went because of urination out of my anus.

How common is this disorder
Diagnosis/testing.
Classic Cockayne syndrome (CS) is diagnosed by clinical findings including
postnatal growth failure and progressive neurologic dysfunction along with other
minor criteria; atypical cases may require molecular genetic testing.
The two genes responsible for Cockayne syndrome are ERCC6 (75% of individuals)
and ERCC8 (25% of individuals). Sequence analysis for both genes is clinically
available.
Cockayne syndrome is inherited in an autosomal recessive manner. The parents of
an affected child are both obligate carriers of an abnormal gene. Heterozygotes
are asymptomatic. Each Sib of a proband has a 25% chance of being affected, a
50% chance of being an asymptomatic carrier, and a 25% chance of being
unaffected and not a carrier.
Reproduction has not been reported in any individual with CS. Carrier detection
in at-risk family members is available on a clinical basis once the mutations
have been identified in the proband. Prenatal testing may be available through
laboratories offering custom prenatal testing.

Do you check every label?
Are you a calorie
counter, when buying food?
I actually do check every label of anything I buy and again before I eat it. It
takes like 5 seconds to check a label so why not. I know myself way too well
because I know that if there is any junk food in the house it will be really
hard to leave it alone. I don't like freak out over it but I try to help myself
out when and where I can.
I make all my meals from scatch, very rarely buy anything in cans, only tomatoes
and they don't have many calories. I do buy cereals though and it amazes me how
much sugar and salt is added to what is supposed to be a healthy start to the
day. Bran Flakes from Tesco have a massive amount of sugar in them! They're not
coming in my house again!
Have a good week Hun ;-)
I don't necessarily check for calories, but I will check to see what the
recommended portion size is, and the amount of fat in a product. If the portion
seems small, and the fat grams seem high, I usually pass on an item.
No i'm not, I don't put on weight very easy which im guessing is cause im either
a teen or tall. Probably a bit of both, so I don't really bother worrying about
calorie intake and whatnot.
No I need to look at the sugar cholesterol. Diabetes type 2 and cholesterol is
high on last blood test.. Oh, plus I have to watch salt as had pericarditis two
yrs. ago and was on cardiac flood with some NASTY food..................EECh!!!!
Yes im very sad i know lol
I also check my mums and sister and comment accordingly haha
:D
No, I usually have a good idea of what the food I buy contains.
Only on questionable items.
No Way ist just a limting factor if i had to i just eat less of what i love
No, thats crazy
No, that is just sad. But i do watch my food intake.

Weight gain problem, can you help me?
OK,
classes will be starting early June.
I'm so skinny and I want to get rid of it at the end of the month.
What else can I do to gain fat?
Does working out worsens the situation or it helps?
Please, Help me.
Muscle actually weighs more than fat, so try to do some heavy lifting. Do not
try to run, or do sprints of any kind. You will lose weight that way, so try and
keep it strictly to the weight room.
Also, weight gainers are very helpful. Try and pick some up if you have the
cash. I recommend Mass XXX but that goes for around $50 at GNC.com. If your on a
tighter budget, buy Cyto Gainer at Massnutrition.com. It is cheap on that site.
Also, Peanut Butter can help you gain weight. It has a lot of protein in it, and
if you eat it with bread, you can put on some serious weight.
Best of luck!
Eat healthy stuffs. My brother is super skinny too. He always drinks freshly
squeezed orange juice. I think it helps a lot, putting a lot of vitamin C in
your body. Don't stay up late, sleeping early helps you get fat. I would
recommend Appeton milk. Its a weight gain milk. It come in two flavors i think
vanilla and chocolate. Its available at a drugstore. When school starts always
eat a healthy breakfast , don't skip meals! Exercising helps but you should have
a trainer to get the right exercise you need.
Get a BodyTech Tech X mass weight gainer it is really cheap $13 for 3.5 pound
container and $28 for 7.5 container. with 7.5 container you could gain 14 pounds
lean muscle with exercise and with added meals 20 pounds of lean mass in a
month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sold at vitaminshoppe
eat, eat, eat!!! and be lazyy if failing at that, gain mucle. if you gain mucle
you will be bulkyer and have no risk on getting overweight~ plus you'll be less
likley to get fat, or really scronny!
Stay thin.
Eat protein bars or drink shakes!! watever you do...don't eat a tub of LARd
First of all you probably don't want to gain "fat." The safest way to gain
weight is to increase your calories slowly. You have to figure out how many
calories you're burning each day and increase that amount of calories in some
way to gain weight. (Keep exercising, it'll keep you overall more healthy,
you'll just have to take that into account when calculating your
metabolic/caloric needs).
Try to increase those calories with HEALTHY calories vs. saturated ones and that
will help you out in life. Once you gain fat cells you can NEVER get rid of
them, you can only make them smaller. To get more fat cells your original fat
cells have to become in a sense bloated with fat and cannot hold anymore and so
your body makes more fat cells.
To estimate your "energy" (kcalorie) needs, you take your body weight in pounds,
and convert it to kilograms. (Divide your weight in pounds by 2.2 to get your
weight in kgs). Then you need to figure out how much it takes to SUSTAIN your
metabolic needs. MEN need about 1kcal per kg of body weight per hour, WOMEN need
about 0.9kcal per kg of body weight per hours. Then you need to multiply that by
24 (as in how many hours in a day). That is the amount of kcalories you need per
day.
FYI, kcalories are what food labels list as "calories" - so don't get confused.
Then you need to determine your activity level :
Very Light = 1.3 (men) 1.3 (women)
standing, sitting, driving, typing, sewing, cooking, playing cards or a musical
instrument
Light = 1.6 (men) 1.5 (women)
walking on a level surface at 2.5-3.0mph, carpentry, childcare, golf, sailing,
table tennis
Moderate = 1.7 (men) 1.6 (women)
walking 3.5-4.0mph, gardening, carrying a load, cycling, skiing, tennis, dancing
Heavy = 2.1 (men) 1.8 (women)
walking uphill carrying a load, digging by hand, playing basketball, football,
or soccer, climbing
Exceptionally Heavy = 2.4 (men) (2.2) women
athletic training or participation in a professional or work-class events
(Note: these are just guidelines, you'll need to adjust them for your own
personal activity levels).
So you take the calories to maintain your weight (from before) and multiply them
by your physical activity level. And that should be the amount of calories
needed for physical activity. To also take into account the Thermic Effect of
Food (TEF) you'll need to multiply the calories you've just reached by (.10) and
add that number to your previous answer.
Another way to figure it out is using the BMR (basal metabolic rate):
Men: BMR= 655 + (13.7 x wt in kg) + (5 x ht in cm) - (6.8 x
age in year) x (activity factor)
Women: BMR= 655 + (9.6 x wt in kg) + (1.8 x ht in cm) - (4.7 x age in year) x
(activity factor)
(convert inches to cm by multiplying 1inch by 2.54cm)
Remember that one pound of body weight is worth 3,500 calories. So to gain one
pound you'll need to eat an extra 3,500 calories that you do not use in some
way.
Also: don't try to do it all in one day, it won't work. You should probably
increase your eating gradually by a few hundred extra calories a day, not a few
thousand.
Examples of foods you could add to your diet to increase calories: banana,
apple, yogurt, baked potato, an extra waffle or pancake, etc. Don't go out and
eat milkshakes and ice cream and french fries. These will make you gain weight
but will also have negative effects on your health. Eat what you already are (if
it's healthy) and just try to increase whatever you eat by a bit - eat a
half-cup more spaghetti than you normally do, add a salad with vegetables on it,
eat more raw vegetables as a snack. Eat a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich as an
extra snack. (Any sandwich would do - just add more vegetables to it and try to
cut out or down on the mayo!) Eat more fruit! Most people don't get enough of
the proper foods they need anyway, so by eating an extra apple a day and a cup
of raw/cooked vegetables a day won't likely hurt you and can help to increase
your caloric intake in a safe, healthy way, which can help you to increase your
weight if that is what you wish to do.
I also want to add that you sound like a kid, so you need to be really careful
because these are recommendations for adults and you should probably also talk
to a license dietitian and/or nutritionist who are legally capable of counseling
you on this.
Disclaimer: I am NOT a nutritionist or dietitian - I have taken nutrition
classes however and this in information provided to our class. Always check with
your doctor first before you take on anything like gaining or losing weight, to
make sure that it is safe and that you can do it SAFELY!
Edit: People are telling you to lift weights - yes that will help, but they are
also telling you to eat more protein! Most Americans get about 2-2.5 times as
much protein as they need, yes, even athletes! Athletes think they need SO MUCH
more protein than the rest of us and in reality they don't. Protein DOES NOT
build muscle, it just helps to repair muscle. It is useful, but can be VERY
harmful. To figure out how much protein you need you take your body weight in
lbs, divide it by 2.2 to get your weight in kgs, and then you multiply that by
(0.8) to get the amount of protein you need in grams. The protein content of
foods is listed on labels just so you can check. Yes, athletes need more, but
not a lot more, maybe an extra 10-40grams a day. Depends on your size and
individual protein needs. Which you'd need to talk to a nutritionist about if
you want an accurate amount). You can get protein from mixing non-meat/dairy
products as well such as in rice and beans is a complete protein. Pasta and
beans is too, and you don't have to have complementary proteins all in one meal!
Just preferably in the same day.
Also know that supplements can be VERY dangerous, and are NOT regulated by the
FDA. People trying to sell them to you are probably trying to make a commission,
so stay away. Mostly you can get all you need from eating foods, except in
special conditions when you have a health problem or a medication interferring
with absorption. Toxicity is more of a problem in this country than
deficiency!

check out: http://www.always.com/products/category/...
to see what you can use for discharge or if you just started your period
also, when i started my period i used these:
http://www.always.com/products/detail/ap...
as well as these:
http://www.always.com/products/detail/ap...
i like the wrapped ones because they are great for school, parties, or anything
else thats on the go :D
I would recommend Always, one reason because there are a variety of pads and
another is because it is what I use.
Always have worked the best for me. Stayfree is ok, but don't use anything with
deodorant - the smell is really strong.
I would recommend, Carefree.
I like always and kotex. But it's really personal preference.
Always with wings, it is the only kind i will use.
carefree or kotex. don't use storebrand...
always with wings its the only one that works.

Will i get taller?
I turned 17 on january, in my junior year. i am between 5'4 and 5'5 but i just say 5'5 to make myself feel taller =). my mom is about 5'4 or 3 and my dad is 5'5 or 6.
from what i hear my mom is pretty normal and my dad is short for their respective genders, but i just want to know if there is any chance i will hit at least 5'7. i dont think ive hit a growth spurt because i havent noticed anything drastic and my uncle said he grew like crazy in college.
does my inherited genetics say i reach my peak or can it just mean im a late bloomer? god i hope im just late...
Hi, I have the same problem, I think I am too short to I'm 18 and 5'11. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with my height but I would like to reach 6'. I get told that I may still grow, its probably the same for you, you may have a growth spurt. Exercise is a good idea, I do stretching exercises every night, you should try it. Men can keep on growing until about 21 however everyone is different, unique. The fact that your parents are small does stack the odds against you however you may grow taller, but try not to worry, get plenty of sleep and maintain good posture and do stretching exercise, you will find loads on line. Good luck
there are a few ways to help increase ur height the main ones are drink milk and sleep well.
im in a similar situation im 17 and my parents are shorter then 5'5 but im 5'10 and want to reach 6' by the time im 21.
dw like me uve got another 4 years left of growth
don't worry, you will really have a growth spurt after this.and if you want to achieve more height, then you can play games like basketball.you can also do skipping and jumping up and down in one spot,i am not joking.you may think that they are games played by girls, but they have a very useful role in shaping a person's height and weight.cricket, baseball, football won't help much in this aspect i am sorry to say.you can play shuttle.drink lots of water and try to each food that is rich in vitamins.ask your mother.or search in the internet for foods that have a rich vitamin content and that will help in the growth of a person.happy growing!!!

How can I make her stop? It's so annoying?
My friend thinks she's fat, but she's not at all. She's skinny.
She's smaller than me also, by quite a lot, and she thinks shes fat and it hurts
me when she calls herself fat, and a "bubble" because, if she thinks she fat, i
must be ENORMOUS to her, and it really hurts me.. I tell her she's not fat and
she says she is and goes on, she tells me shes at the gym toning her theighs cuz
shes so fat..and i HATE it.. I asked her why she's so obsessed with being a
stick if no one cares about her figure, which is pretty much true, and she says,
im not doing it for other people, im doing it for me. i dont feel skinny, i need
to be thin. i can go ahead and be a "stick" if thats what it takes to not be
another example of America's obesity" what can i tell her.. how can me and my
friends get her to stop because its really hurtful to us, and we dont understand
it.. she barely eats to and we tell her to but she just says i cant... help
please!

Does having oral sex after vaginal sex bad for the women?
I ask this because, my girlfriend and I frequently have
sex, but we keep things simple like just vaginal sex, or just oral sex and
that's it, or even oral sex, then vaginal sex, but not until recently she wanted
to try oral sex after vaginal sex. I've seen pornographic movies of such, so I
guess it's okay. I'm just worried about my girlfriend who was willing to do
things to please me and turn me on, but more than anything I don't want to put
any dangerous risk to her. That's why I told her I will never do anal with her,
even though it's like every man's dream or at least for some. She was even
willing to try it, but I said no. As for this, we've done it a couple times,
because of the heat of the moment but now I want to make sure before continuing
with it. Thanks.
You sound like a great guy and that you really care about your girlfriend. The
only risk is if you two have any STDs. Then you risk catching it orally. But if
both are clean then there is no risk. As for Anal sex, use lots of lube so you
dont hurt her, and NEVER let her perform oral on you after you have been in the
back door. She can get sick from the bactiria transfer. Also you shouldnt go
from the front door to the back door and back to the front door. That can give
her a UTI. Doesnt always happen but it can. If you do decide to try anal sex
start slow dont force yourself inside her, you can hurt her. Slow at first
untill you get full penitration and LOTS of lube, after that its alot like
regular sex, But NEVER EVER oral after that. Have fun and enjoy each other.
I think it is risky that your girlfriend might have some bacterial infectious
disease. There might be bacteria present in the vagina and the penis that might
be swallowed by your girlfriend when you shift from vaginal intercourse to oral
sex. There's a lot of sexual fun but be careful.
If both of you are sure you don't have a STD, there's nothing wrong with going
from vaginal to oral, and some women even are turned on by their taste.
I commend you for not doing anal...I really don't know why someone would want
to...maybe I'll post a question about that...
Provided that neither of you have any STDs then you are fine to do oral, anal or
vaginal in any order you like. Your hands are probably filled with more germs
than her vagina and you wouldn't think twice about putting your fingers in her
mouth, would you?
Man, you got yourself a winner. As for the oral, STD's don't spawn out of thin
air. If you guys are in a monogamous relationship, you in good shape. I hope you
are monogamous, don't let a chick like that go to waste.
Yes, it does bad. One of my friends got oral herpes from having oral sex after
vaginal sex. You may ask her at her blog on pozcupid .com
I wouldn't imagine there would be anything wrong with it.
Npthing wrong with going from vaginal to oral. Some women really like their own
"taste."
Have fun!
Its harmless.
And i admire you for not wanting to do anal!
yea its fine.
yes it is.
i really dont see how this could hurt her...
nahh
I've been sexually active for 35 years it's never harmed me in any way. Many
women hate kissing men after the men gave them oral sex wouldn't think of oral
sex after vaginal sex. Other women desire it. As for me, it's not my favourite
I don't really like it, but from time to time,it's fun to get messy! There's no
harm in it, if you are both healthy.
By the way, I go for checkups with my gynaecologist every 3 years to make sure
I'm in good health below. Also, it's good to steer away from anal penetration -
it hurts can cause IBS (irritable bowel sydrome) Done it, been there don't
recommend it.

There is some wiggley thing in my knee and its doesnt hurt what is it?
Its like a worm on the inside of my knee
it lasts about 2 secs it gos away
Doesnt hurt it kinda tickles
muscle twitch. dont worry. you dont have worms!
You were abducted by aliens in the middle of night and they implanted you with
little worms that will burst through your skin when they are old enough.
i believe it is the male reproductive system of walruses and several species of
amphibians, including soulja boy.
It is nothing and everything.
this could be tapeworm,pinworm,or ringworm
It could be a nerve
Maybe your ball sack?

Von Willebrand Disease?
I'm just curious.
If I'm understanding this right, von Willebrand Disease, is a bleeding disorder.
It simply means you bleed longer. So, if someone with vWD wanted to get tattoos
or piercings, would they bleed more than the average person?
there's this thing called the clotting cascade that is the process that causes
you to clot after an injury/puncture. in vWD you're missing one of the factors
involved (the vonWildebrand factor) so these people do bleed longer than the
average person. piercing may be okay, depending on where it is (ears don't tend
to bleed much, but other places may be worse). i'd definitely talk to my doc
before a tattoo since that's more that just one poke and covers a lot more
area.

Is this a problem, or do i just have an extrememly small bladder?
After I drink more than one glass of water, within
10 minutes i will need to go 2 the bathroom.
then after that, about every two minutes I will need to keep going and going
again for about 4 times until it stops.
I don't know how water or pop can go through my body so quickly.
It is very annoying, because whenever i go out and drink something, i am always
running to the bathroom.
what's wrong?
Hi there, you could just have a week blader as that can cause
the symptoms which your saying you have,
Also i cannot give the correct diagnosis same as anyone else on here your G.P
will give you that, so if your not happy i really would speek with him/her but
please dont worry,
hope this helps
Questions?
Are you drinking more then usual?
Does you urine smell bad?Strong like nailpolish remover?
Does your skin itch a lot?
You loose weight?
Then see the dr tomorrow.ASAP.
If not?
You are lucky then: see the urologist. or Gp.
Sky.
It is after midnight here now,so go to bed.
Have a great evening
Make an appointment with a Urologist. Sounds like you have a

PCOS question?
I ahve poly cystic ovaries,
and only get my period every 3 - 4 months. I got told i wont be able to have
kids
I just got my period now, and it was 5 1/2 months after my last one.
Does this mean the PCOS is getting worse?
I don't think PCOS gets worse. But first of all I think you need to find a new
doctor if your doctor said you won't be able to have kids. Women with PCOS have
kids all the time. And if your not ovulating the doctor can prescribe you
medication that will help you.
You NEED to go on birth control pills. Not having your period for more then 3
months puts you more at risk for cancer. When the lining in your uterus grows
and grows and grows every month and is not being shed (we call this a period)
abnormal cells can grow.
You might have go through different birth control brands to find the one that
works for you but I strongly suggest you get on dim pills.
(Birth Control helps regulate your period if you didn't know)
Whoever has said you won't have kids is full of it. It may be more difficult,
but PCOS does not always make your infertile. With correct treatment, you can
get pregnant.
But anyway, you should look into birth control pills or metformin. Both have
been successful in treating PCOS symptoms. The pill gives you pretty
instantaneous results for your period. The met is used for weight gain and
related problems but it often helps women get their periods
going.

What would make you happy in your life?
Besides winning the lottery
well it is money. money is the only thing in life you cannot do with out except
for air and water nothing else in life matters.
family and friends, people in general only disappoint. at least if you have
money, you are free.
Having a job that lets me drive around on my bike across the country, probably
being a freelance journalist. Meeting new people and doing new things.
A dime more than I can spend.

Weight loss. i've stopped shedding pounds.?
i am 31. i've lost 24 pounds in a month and a half, and since this anonymous, (:))i am now 225. i'm 5'8, and would like to be 150. I've stopped shedding pounds. it is very important i losre weight, because my liver is fatty. In fact, my doc put me on pills. but i'm not losing ne more. i eat like 1000, one day, and 1200 the next.... what do i do?.. or ok, youre not me. what would you do?
thanks
Oatmeal oranges egg whites and milk are fat burning foods.
Eat oatmeal in the morning with one or 2 egg whites. I boil the eggs and just eat the whites but you can do so as you like. And a glass of milk. It doesnt have to be a big glass if you dont like to drink straight milk. I put extra in my oatmeal.
Try snacking on fruits and veggies. For lunch which is my big meal because i dont like to eat a lot closer to bedtime to give my body more time to burn it off. I eat chicken on the grill. With my favorite bbq sauce or some type of flavoring. I change it up now with fish too. You can do pork once in a while as well. Grill or sometimes you can bake but dont fry. Try to avoid red meats most of the time. For a side do with your favorite veggies try corn on the cob. You can do potatoes but not every day.
Snack again with fruit veggies. Also try yogurt i eat Activia it really help regulate you. Try to have an orange a day as well.
For dinner go with a salad with low fat dressing. You can buy grilled chicken slices or tuna if you want to spice it up.
Note for cravings. I keep fat free pudding in the house chocholate and vanilla so when i crave something sweet its there. Also i use natural pop corn it comes with butter and believe me it tastes the same. But keep these snacks close and easy. For example i love fresh carotts but i get lazy and dont want to peel them so i grab something easier. I now cut and peel them and put them in baggies in my fridge so i can just grab them and eat.
this is my diet hopefully it'll help you too. Also try doing some cardio like just walking for a half hour a day.
1. dont bank on the words 'fast' 'quick'....to stay safe, you shoudnt lose beyond 3 pounds of fat per week
2. start brisk walking 1-2 hrs a day
3. drink only water, lowfat milk and lots of green tea
4. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well..make sure you eat a good breakfast!
5. do lots of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your other efforts
6. get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring..or if you are at a gym, experiment all forms of cardio available and stick to all that you like
7. always push yourself n never give up!but get enough rest too...
8. be smart when eating out or at events/functions
9. dont trust myths like no food after 7pm...you have to stay nourished to lose fat,..the best you can do if you are scared to eat is perhaps
drink a glass of ice chocolate lowfat milk mixed with a tsp of instant softened oatmeal...
10. Stay focused on your goal and God bless you...
thanks

Can nervousness cause cancer?
I remember
reading that African American women have higher breast cancer rates than other
women, and the reason is constant worrying and stress from discrimination. I am
not African American or subject to discrimination but experience a lot of
stress. I have a weekly class where I have to get in front of the class to
speak, and I am severely nervous to the point where my heart is beating fast, I
am sweating, my stomach painfully churns, and my voice cracks. Can this constant
nervousness affect my health and increase my risk for getting cancer?
Stress can cause all sorts of health problems, and I guess that it might
increase your risk of getting some cancers. There's no hard evidence that it
does so though.
Good ways to reduce stress include getting enough sleep, getting regular
exercise, eating regular healthy meals, doing activities that relax you, doing
yoga and meditating.
It's also possible that the more you speak in front of your class, the less
nervous you'll be about it. I've heard that the one thing that people fear more
than death is public speaking - so it's very common and I'm sure that most of
the rest of your class feels the same way when they have to get up in front of
everyone.
There are public speaking courses you can take, which teach you techniques to
use to reduce nervousness.
So don't add to your stress by worrying about cancer - just live your life in
the healthiest way that you can xx
That type of nervousness will not cause cancer and i don't think is a type of
stress that can do that much harm. but a stress mixed with worry and supressed
anger is different one it can affect your immunce system making the body weaker
to defend against potentional illnesses. one fact is that when your worried and
stressed you lose apetite lose sleep energy levels drop. it produces
counterproductive results for you and for your body and health. as far as cancer
concerned cancer can affect anyone regardless they have stress or not.
not a proven fact just my opinion.
Very doubtful that nervousness or stress causes cancer . . if it did than all
the parents with children who are fighting or have died from cancer . . would be
getting cancer too. I cannot think of too many other things more stressful than
dealing with a child with cancer or a child dying from cancer.
Being nervous over your weekly class I would think wouldn't effect your health
in such an adverse way. BUT....constant stress can affect your immune system,
which in turn would not be efficient in fighting off disease.
Well, if you're making a speech once in a couple weeks you'll be fine. All
people have stress. If your life in general sucks then yeah :) And you'll live
less too, so relax.
reading that African American women have higher breast cancer rates than other
women, and the reason is constant worrying and stress from discrimination. I am
not African American or subject to discrimination but experience a lot of

How long would it take for a cut that is about the size of a pea to heal?
2-3 days or there abouts I'd say 5 days MAX...if you don't aggrivate it and its not infected.
It would depend on how deep, but if its the size of a pea 360 then I would say about a month and a half. It also depends on the person 2. I could heal faster than u. Well I guess I didn't really help at all huh?
Give it about two weeks for it to heal so that new skin is there and pinkish.
Keep it clean so that infection doesn't set in.

My nose won't stop bleeding?
i was hit in the face with a soccor ball flying the other day and my nose bled for a while but it keeps on constantly bleeding for 2 days. My nose doesn't feel broken but it is very soar. Could it possibly be a broken nose? What can i do to stop the bleeding?
I broke my nose and did not know it for a week... go to a doctor. In the meantime to stop bleeding keep your chin up, look up at the ceiling for two minutes at a time. don't load your nose with cotton or tissues it won't work. If bleeding presists call 911 good luck pal.
Resist all attempts to pick, or even blow it so you don't dislodge the scab.
It's likely to need cauterising to stop the bleeding. Go to see your doc. It's not an emergency if you've lived with it for two days. It could be broken, or the cartilage may just have been displaced. Your doc will advise and, if necessary, make sure it's going to heal straight (unless you'd prefer a bent nose).
Your nose is broken.
Put an ice pack on your face. Dont tilt you head backwards when trying to control the bleeding, it can cause blood clots in the brain. (My best friend is a nurse).
Go see a doctor about your nose before you die from blood loss.
you have to pinch the top of your nose so it clamps off the blood supply. a broken blood vessel does require med care to cauterize it. a x ray should be taken if your really concerned if its broke or not
lie down keep still , put a cold compress on your nose , works well for my brother who have nosebleeds all the time. if its been that long you should see a doctor.
See a Dr or go to the ER

At what age can I start building muscle faster?
im a male, 14 and 8 months old exactly.
i weight 150 lbs.
im 5 foot 9 inches.
16-17 is the best age to start gain muscle's.
At that age you wont grow anymore.
I think you have to wait until your 20's because at this age its no a good time
to start
But you can start to eat food with a lot of proteines.
Good Luck
It varies for everyone. When you finish puberty you should be able to build
muscle faster.
my son is 14 and 200 pounds and is all muscle and very health so you can do
it..

VERY hard question about gaining a six pack abs. SOMEONE HELP?
okay guys im a fairly skinny guy who goes to the gym and i
did gain lots of muscle through it , although i have a 6 pack but a layer of fat
is covering it, but u can see it if i flex perfeclty I just want to get rid of
the fat i know i must run and do crunches and all of that but my main question
is: IF I RUN FOR WHAT EVER MINUTES THAT I DO, WONT EATING JUST EQUAL OUT WITH
THE RUNNING, AND IT WILL BE AS IF I NEVER EVEN RAN? SOMeone help because im so
confused. THE WHOLE POINT OF RUNNING IS TO LOSE CALORIES RIGHT? AND BURN AND
LOSE FAT RIGHT? BUT WHATS THE POINT OF THAT IF YOUR GOING TO EAT? Wont you get
the calories back? How do i actually work out and see results ? SOmeone help im
trying to get fit for this summer!! someone help!!
You need to read a book called Protein Power by DRs Michael and Mary Dan Eades,
so you can understand how your body burns and stores fat.
Of course you have to eat, diet is an extremely important part of having six
pack abs. But cardio is a must. It all comes down to math. If you burn more
calories than you consume, then you'll lose weight. Hence, the belly fat and
other fat. Like you already said, the six pack is there, it's just covered with
a layer of fat. Check out this website for some great information on how to get
a six pack:
http://www.magnetic-diet.com/six-pack-ab...
um.. this is a hard one! it is very good that you are running and going to the
gym, and working really hard! but if you work hard and then eat again its like
you never worked out or ate, you just stayed the same. so next time excersice
alot but eat healthy food not junk. you can eat a lot of healthy food, and you
wont get fat!hope this works for ya!
You need to burn more calories than you eat. so say you burn 3,500 calories one
day, that is one pound. you need to eat less than that if you want to see any
results. if you burn 500 more calories a day than you eat at the end of the week
you will weight 1 pound less.
What you should do is join an athletic sport that practices 3-5 times a week
such as basketball/football/or even track and field conditioning.
An even better idea would be to get a job
a good suggestion is a golf caddy because in that case you get
muscle/exercise/and even money =)
Well, you see, if you don't eat, you will die. If you do eat, you need to work
off the calories. So you'll either have to die, or work out. Wow, that's a
pretty tough choice. Die or work out... Die or work out... HMM.
you have to watch your calories and stick to a certain number of calories a day.
if you do that, you will get the results you want.
running uses calories faster then you can store them. about 20 minuets of
running will use up all the calories from eating, then the rest comes from the
fat stored( after the 20 minuets)
chew slower and eat healthy like veges fruits and salad. also try eating before
you run, and sit ups help more for your abs then running does good luck
well i say you do
100 situps
100 press ups everyday
should help :)
Check out P90X - you should see my hubby - oh damn! Worked for him
wow...dude u have to eat less than u burn...or burn more than u eat! duh
Losing fat = more calories lost than gained.
That means, if you eat it all back, especially fatty foods, carbs, and sugar,
you will maintain the wieght you are at if not get fatter. To lose wieght, you
must burn more calories exercising (cardio as you know is the fastest way) than
you eat. Occasionally, if you really have a craving for something a little more
fattening than usual, just try not to eat so much and eat it before you do your
cardio (like an hour before). That way, you are utilizing those calories right
after eating it and it isn't turned into fat and stored somewhere in the body.
There are many diet's made by experienced people with each diet a totally
differend theorie behind it.
So everyone has a differend view and opinion about it.
I would say go eat and run, because the whole progress to turn the food into
**** will cost energy, and by training off the intake calories you would
actually lose more calories then you were eating.
But some will say you just should eat less.
Some will say eat 6 meals a day.
So it's actually impossible to awnser this question, only by opinion and I gave
you mine.
The plan I would do is 1500~ calories á day intake and 1000 calories run
off.(1hour)

How to Get Six Pack Abs
Strengthen your abdominal muscles and lose body fat. The concept is simple, but
putting it into action is not. It will take dedication, willpower, patience and
time to get a six pack but in the end, the effort is well worth it. Remember,
abs are made mostly in the kitchen! You can have the most toned and defined abs
but they won't show through if there's a layer of fat over them.
[edit] Steps
The simple step-by-step process to gaining and maintaining six pack abs is as
follows:
Build Muscle
1.
Do Crunches. Lie on the floor (with or without a mat) and cross your arms in
front of your chest. (Do not place both hands behind your head. Placing both
hands behind your head can cause lower back problems in the long run as it
places unnecessary stress on that part of your body from pulling on your head
and neck.) Another alternative is to cross your arms in front of your chest and
lightly place your finger tips behind your ears, without pulling on your neck or
ears to help raise you off the floor. Draw in your abdomen towards your spine
while inhaling through your nose. Now raise your shoulders (upper torso) towards
your knees, using strictly your abdominal muscles. It is very important not to
lift your entire back off the floor, as this can cause back strain, and the
extended movement does not help you develop six pack abs any faster. The most
important part of the crunch is the initial flexing of your abs as you lift your
shoulders off of the floor. As soon as you begin lifting off the floor exhale
through your mouth, ending with a gasp once your shoulders are off the floor.
Then pause for a second once you are at the top of the crunch and exhale the
last bit of air from your diaphragm while flexing your abs. The proper breathing
and flexing make all the difference. Now lower back down slowly and controlled
while inhaling through your nose, just until your shoulder blades touch the
ground. Do not let your head touch the ground and repeat.
2.
Do Sit Ups. Lie on the floor, feet on the floor, knees up and fingers placed
behind your ears or hands crossed on your chest. Sit all the way up, lifting
your lower back off the floor along with your shoulder blades.Lower yourself
down. Repeat. Once this becomes relatively easy for you (i.e. you can do a quite
a bit with ease) start adding more challenges. Find an incline bench or do these
on an exercise ball. Once you "graduate" from that, do weighted sit ups. Hold a
weight on your chest while you do these. As these become easier, hold heavier
and heavier weights. You might also try lifting your feet off the ground while
doing the sit ups or alternating the leg in the air, like pretending to pedal
while sitting up. If your hands are behind your head, bring your left knee up to
touch your right elbow and then your right knee to the left elbow.
3.
Do Leg Lifts. Lie on the floor, legs straight out, hands at your sides. Lift
your legs straight up (not bending your knees at all) until they're at a 90
degree angle (or close). Lower your legs and repeat without letting your legs
touch the floor. For more challenge there is equipment at most gyms that will
allow you to raise yourself up using your arms as support and dangle your legs.
You can perform leg lifts there too. If you're using this piece of equipment,
you can make it easier by just raising your knees to your chest. It's more
difficult to raise your legs to a horizontal position with your legs straight.
This helps firm up the lower abdomen. If you're truly a monster, try doing leg
lifts with a medicine ball hanging from your feet. Or hang from a pull up bar
and raise your legs in front of you all the way up to the bar. Still too
easy?...
4.
Do Jackknife Sit Ups. Lie down flat on the floor. Place your hands on the ground
to your sides for balance; you can pick them up as you get used to the movement.
Simultaneously raise your knees and torso so that your knees and face meet on an
imaginary line extending from your pelvis to the ceiling. You should be able to
kiss your knees at the top of the motion. Your legs will naturally fold bringing
your feet towards your hips, much like a jackknife. Lie back down (i.e. "spread
out") and repeat. Place a weight between your feet when you think you can handle
it. What's that? More?
5. Do V-ups. Lie on the floor, legs straight out, hands on the floor but this
time extended out over your head. Simultaneously raise legs and torso. Don't
bend your knees! What kind of V would it be if you bend your knees? Reach with
your hands toward the raised feet. Touch your feet if possible (will require
some flexibility). Relax, return to starting position and repeat. Add weight
between feet to match your taste.
6.
Static Hold and Side Statics. Put your body into the push-up position but with
your elbows on the floor, and you whole body flat. This position is known as the
static hold position and it trains your core (including your abs) to hold the
body in place which is the real purpose of your abs. Hold this position for as
long as possible, but you should be aiming to start off with at least 45
seconds, while seasoned ab workers known to achieve over 20 minute static holds.
To perform the side static hold roll onto one side of your body and lift into
the same position as before, but this time only one arm will be on the ground
with the other arm pointed straight up the air and your non-weight bearing leg
resting on your bottom leg. Once again, hold this for as long as possible
7.
Train Your Oblique Muscles. It's not as important to work on your oblique
muscles at first, but eventually you'll want to start working these too. These
are the muscles to either side of your stomach. There are multiple ways to do
this and anything that includes twisting your torso against a resistance counts.
There are twisting machines at gyms, you can twist while you do sit-ups, you can
do side bends, you can twist side to side with a medicine ball in hand, etc. Be
aware though, that many beginners tend to have weak obliques compared to their
abs (it simply isn't used as much in daily life) so go easy on the sides at
first.
8. Know that since it is, literally, the center of your body there are many
other tricks you can use to train your abs, and some of the other movements will
more or less involve your abs. Including every abdominal exercise in existence
would make this article painfully long and new methods are being developed
constantly. Now that you've made up your mind about a washboard mid-section, get
creative! Find new ways to crunch, bend and twist in your daily life. Some
possibilities include:
*
Use a stability ball. Do your crunches on the ball to introduce instability to
your workout, which will improve your balance too. There are also lots of core
exercises that can be done with a stability ball. You can also use a small bubble
use for physical therapy.
* Duck and twist during your daily routine. Reach with your left hand to things
on your right and vice versa. If you feel like turning around to face something,
see if you can do it with keeping your hips in place and twisting at the waist
(warning: awkward when talking to other people, use only against inanimate
objects). While walking or standing, pretend that something is coming toward you
and you have to duck to get out of the way. Do this as often as you are
comfortable or at times when it won't look weird. You can bend forward from the
hips or, if you're really into it, bend at the knees too and really "sink" out
of the way. Caution: If you have lower back problems, you could injure yourself.
9. Do the Scientific Best Abs Exercise Researchers at the San Diego State
University, found that there are certain abs exercises that triggers most
muscular activity. The winner was the "bicycle maneuver":
* Lie on the floor; make sure your lower back is pressed on the ground.
* Take your hands behind your ears. Then bring up your knees at a 45 degree
angle.
* Start doing a bicycle pedalling motion. Touch your elbow with the opposite
knee (right elbow with left knee and so on, alternating)
* Breathe relaxed and evenly throughout the whole exercise.
Lose Fat
1.
Lift Weights. The more muscle your body has, the more calories your body burns,
even at rest. Many people are afraid of getting huge due to weight lifting but
the fact is you won't!, Many huge body-builders out there have been
body-building for years to get huge. If you just do cardiovascular exercises
without lifting weights then you will lose the muscle mass, you will also feel
weak and it will take longer to lose that fat. So, to get rid of that fat
quickly lift weights combined with cardiovascular exercises. Running, biking,
swimming, stair climbing, jumping rope, tennis, volleyball, dancing, squash or
any other activity that gets you moving and keeps you moving is a great way to
burn fat. However, a cardiovascular workout should be performed for at least 20
minutes to burn fat prior to this your body will simply run on its stored
energy, which results in minimal fat loss. Cardiovascular training should always
be done after your weight lifting workout. While lifting weights, you use
stored, (carbohydrate) energy, thus, by performing cardiovascular exercises
after weight training your body will have less stored energy to use and go
straight into the fat storage for its energy use. The overall best way to shed
fat fast is to do cardiovascular (30 minutes minimum) right when you wake up.
Your body will search for energy to use, and when it finds nothing in your
stomach, it will go directly to your fat reserves for energy.
2. Keep Metabolism Steady. Eating one small meal (such as a potato, a salad,
etc.) every
did gain lots of muscle through it , although i have a 6 pack but a layer of fat
is covering it, but u can see it if i flex perfeclty I just want to get rid of

kiss your knees at the top of the motion.
Eating one small meal (such as a potato, a salad,
etc.) every

Horrible pain in left upper leg??
Okay so i
have horrible pain in my left upper thigh and it hurts so badly to walk, even
sitting now its hurting. Does anyone know what this could be?
Perhaps inflammation in the pelvis or hip joint? Due to arthritis, rheumatism or
an inflammatory disorder like auto immune disease. On the other hand, it could
also be a strain or a sprain. Would be best to talk to a doctor about this, who
could possibly do an x-ray or another type or scan to diagnose it.
You've got a bent spoon in your pocket? Also, you call yourself Megan but your
myspace says you're a 16 year old male?
what's it to be?
Next time use lube

umm, ur not making any sense. ur a virgin, so u'd have a smallish hole. its
possible to have a really small or really big hole. if its too small, then u
mihgt need to go to the doctor's. but ur fine. it doesn't matter where the hole
in the hymen is.

Eyes not focused? Blurry? Can't see!!??
my
eyes take a long time to get re focused. when i look at something close, and
then look at something farther, it's just a big blur. it takes me half an hour
to get it refocused. what is going on with my eyes? i have almost perfect vision
before. also, when i cover my right eye, its just a complete blur but if i do
the same with my left eye, my right eye can see. do i need glasses or something?
You most likely do need glasses. Just because you've had perfect vision in the
past doesn't mean it will stay that way. You probably have an Astigmatism in
your left eye (which would be the reason for the blur.) Yes, your eyes can have
different perscriptions. But don't worry. Astigmatism isn't a bad thing. It just
means that the lens of your eye isn't completely round. This could also be the
reason for your troubles focusing. When you look with both eyes you combine the
ability of each eye to see clearly. This is why you can see better with your
right than your left.
The best advice: see your optometrist. Only the doctor will be able to tell what
the true problem is.
you should definitly go see an eye doctor, its probably you need glasses or you
might have dry eye
Have you thought of seeing and eye doctor instead of asking this question on YA?
I can just see someone saying you have a brain tumor.

What can i use for pain after my tongue piercing?
Toothing gel for babies (like Anbesol) or anything that can be
administered orally and contains benzo or lido over the counter.
If you use ice, make sure it's made of clean water to minimize exposure
Pain reliever. Ice it maybe. Pretty much you put yourself in that
position...kinda made your bed so lay in it? You know? Make sure you clean it
well with warm salt water or the stuff they give you--if the pain is consistent
for more than 3 months you might allergic to the metal. (I would hope that you
would notice your irritation to the metal before then though) Good Luck
I drank milkshakes for awhile. ice helps as well. but milkshakes tasted
better:)
