Pancreatic cancer :
What is the health isssue???
The pancreas is a vital organ that produces insulin. In the case of pancreatic
cancer, insulin production ceases. Pancreatic cancer is nearly impossible to
diagnose until it is in the very, very late stages because there are no symptoms
until then. For the most part it is untreatable and inoperable. Generally
speaking, a patient diagnosed with pancreatic cancer doesn't live a terribly
long time after that, usually a few weeks to a couple of months at best.
Stranger things have happened of course, and there are new treatments being
introduced all the time, but as a rule, pancreatic cancer is a very serious
diagnosis.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most painful cancers out there. Not only does it
cause great pain, it also will eat away your body. I lost my mom to this
horrible disease, but before it killed her, she lost both arms, then her legs,
then her nose crumbled off her face, then it started wreaking havoc on her
organs, breathing, liver quit functioning normally, kidneys, etc. To much
suffering, that left us in bewilderment.
check out this research group ....they have a message board and you can ask your
