Hey, I have had some pretty bad
acne in my life (and still do every now and then) but my skin has been clearing
up. I now have some bad red scars on my face. Does anyone know of a good product
that will even my skin tone quickly? It looks gross, and this summer I don't
want to rely on concealer to feel comfortable with myself.
Mederma.
Its scar medicine.
Costs around $18.
It's the best out there on the market.
In a month, your scars probably won't even be there. :)
here's something I found about acne on a website and it hopefully will be an
awesome help to you:
How To Reduce An Acne Problem
You shouldn’t squeeze, pick, scratch, or rub your skin as it makes the problem
worse, and it might even cause scarring.
Regularly shampoo your hair, and try to keep it off your face if possible -
especially at night.
Keep a food diary to work out if you are one of the few people whose acne gets
worse if they eat certain things.
Exercise regularly to get the old blood flowing, and make sure you get a wash as
soon after as possible.
Avoid unnecessarily touching your face.
If possible, try to minimize your stress levels.
Avoid getting sunburned.
Change your wash cloth every day, as bacteria can grow on damp cloth.
Wash your face twice a day with a gentle soap like Dove or Lever 2000.
Always rinse really well with lots of water.
Only wear makeup on special occasions, and then make sure you remove it
completely.
Granular facial scrub can make acne worse by aggravating the skin.

One thing you shouldn't do to deal with acne scars is load up your face with
masks or fancy lotions — these won't help and may irritate your skin further,
making the scars red and even more noticeable.
If you have a red or brownish mark on your face that you got from a bad zit,
have no fear — it will eventually fade, just like the scars you had on your
knees after you fell off your bike when you were a kid. However, it may take 12
months or longer — so your best bet is to avoid these kinds of marks by not
squeezing or popping your zits, no matter how tempting it may seem.

Can seek for doctor on some cream applications to reduce scaring etc...If not, u
can try Vitamin E cream, it helps to lighten scars...Coz I believe u have
sensitive too and is better not to use those out from the pharmancies shelf...
Can try Avene products..it is more for sensitive skin types..
I answered your other question about the cystic acne.
You said it itched sometimes?
Maybe your concealer is irritating it and you might need a moisturizer. (Or a
different one)
You should try Mederma. It works verry well.
If not go to your Dermatologist they can definetley prescribe you something for
your skin type!
