I only burn 500 cals at the gym does that mean I have to eat less than 500 cals to lose weight?

I do one hour of cardio
at the gym everyday because I was told that I shouldnt workout for more than an
hour otherwise I'll start burning muscle which will slow my metabolism.

The thing is I'm only a beginner and I cant burn more than 500 calories/hour,
does that mean I won't lose weight unless I eat less than 500 cals/day??
Your body burns calories every minute of the day by keeping you alive...it burns
calories to keep your brain functioning, your organs working, your heart
pumping, when you walk, when you stand up, etc...So depending on your height,
weight, and activity level, your body is already burning calories. I'm just
taking a guess, but I'm guessing your probably a teenage girl, so your body is
probably burning about 1,500 calories a day. So you need to eat about 1,700
calories a day to maintain your current weight. If you're burning 500 calories
extra each day by working out, then your body is negative 500 calories. It takes
negative 3,500 calories to burn one pound, so you would lose a pound about every
four days. You can double that by eating 1,200 cals a day and continuing to burn
500, and you will lose a pound every two days! Any less calories then that is
dangerous. It will send your body into conservation mode and you will burn way
less calories when you exercise and everything you do eat will be stored as fat,
and you will also retain water like crazy! So eat 1,200 cals, burn 500 cals, and
lose 4 pounds a week and 20 pounds in a month!!!!
Your body naturally burns 1,200-1,400 calories a day even if your just sitting
or laying down. All your organs everything burn calories but the more muscle
you have the more calories are burned the more active you are the more
calories you burn. Just sleeping burns 60 calories an hour.

So you need atleast 1,200 calories a day or your body will go into starvation
mode. When it goes into starvation mode everything you eat will turn into fat
thats why you need 1,200 calories or more a day.
You'll only burn muscle is you haven't fueled your body. The average person
burns 1200 to 1500 calories per day. If you eat fewer than 1200 calories, you
will most likely GAIN weight. Your body says," OMG, I'm working so hard and
there's no fuel.... I better hold onto what's here really tight so I don't
starve to death!!"

Get at least 1200 calories a day. If you're burning 500 calories everyday at the
gym and taking in 1200, you WILL lose weight. Make sure you drink lots of water.
Being dehydrated makes you bloated and heavier. I reccomend eating a snack of at
least 200-300 calories about half an hour before you work out to kick up your
metabolism and fuel your muscles. Check out

no you need to find out how many calories you need...you can do an online test
and it will tell you...search BMR test on google

your mistaken with the 500 calorie defecite rule...it means subtract 500
calories from whatever your body needs to maintain its same weight

for me my BMR is 3156 so for me to lose 1lb every week i would need to eat 2656
calories a day not negative 500 calories a day
You burn about 1200 calories a day if you just sit there and do no to little
movement. Add how many calories you burn from exercise to that and that's what
you should eat less than. Plus, if you walk a lot, etc, that's more calories
burned.
NO go to google and type in BMR!!! not bmi,, bmr... and do that and than thats
how many calories you burn without doing anything and then add 500 calories to
that and divid it by 7 and that will be how many pounds you burn in a week!!!
The calories in and calories out equation is a big lie, there is no evidence for
it,hormones, genetics and carbs are the big players in fat loss and gain.
no way if your eatin 500 then burning 500 your body will be surving on nothing
meaning you wont be able to fucntion properly
