Briainnn surgryy??? HELPP PLEASE 10 POINTSS A.S.A.P?

okay umm is it possible for the personns brain to expand soo much
that it is starting to go in his neck? cause they cant do the "flap" surgery yet
casuse his blood pressure is dangeroussly low. the flap is when they cut a sqare
in his scalp
PLEASE HELPP
When blood accumulates (a hematoma) and isn't contained, it can push the
brainstem down through the Foramen Magnum. That is the opening at the base of
the skull that the spinal cord exits through. A traumatic injury to the skull
causing an injury to the internal temporal artery, a subdural hematoma, or a
subarachnoid bleed could all do it. From you description, the "flap" would be in
the dura mater, or the tough covering layer over the brain. That suggests a
subdural hematoma. The other two conditions that I mentioned are much more
dangerous and life-threatening, and progress much more rapidly.

Now, that being said, the low blood pressure will help in the short term,
because blood is not being pumped up into the skull with any force or volume. So
your Neurosurgeon is using good judgment and allowing the blood to clot while he
waits for the blood pressure to improve. It does no good to operate in haste if
the low blood pressure causes a great risk of death during the operation. I'm
sure that he's ordered hourly neurological checks by skilled Neurology nurses
an, if there is a stable exam, he will wait until he can do the surgery with
minimal risk. If there is neurological deterioration, then he will operate
immediately and take his chances on survival of the patient.

It's a difficult balancing act. And it sounds like he's using good judgment at
this stage.
Yes the brain can has too much pressure or swelling and start to swell out into
the "neck"
these questions are wierd

no
