I had a terrible sinus headache last night. I tried as we all do
different things to help relieve the pain. I tried to hold my head with my
forehead straight down on a table (or any flat surface, not sure if needs to be
a cool surface) for about 5 to 10 minutes. I don't think it took that long. My
sinuses began to drain and my head stopped hurting. It would be neat if this
proved to be a quick cure. Would like to see others feedback over time using
this procedure. mayfieldga@bellsouth.net
I haven't tried that before, but just wanted to say thanks for the tip. I'll try
it next time. I hate sinus headaches too.
Sometimes I've gotten lucky and have held my head in just the right position for
things to drain. One night I must have rolled into the "right" position while I
was asleep, then as they started to drain they made enough popping noises inside
my head that it woke me up!
For me, having my head tipped way back seems to be the magic
position.
