Im 16 and im not sexually active but i want ot be on birth control how do i tell my mom?

i just want to be protected just in
case something happens because i am in a relationship with someone
Tell her you are having irregular periods and you just want to regulate them so
you always know when you should be prepared for them.I'm 29 all my life i had
irregular periods till i got on birth control and now it's like a clock,i know
exactly when i will be having it.Good luck,best wishes.
okay, i first of all if you are so worried i would get yourself out of that
relationship if you feel like something will get out of hand, but i would just
ask your mom, and if she really- truly cares about you she will tell you the
truth about her opinion- and if i was your mom, i would like to know what was
going on and how you feel and i know i would tell you if you were worried about
this to either make it VERY clear with your boy friend/ girl friend that you are
not ready for this relation ship to go that far

manly just don't be afraid to tell the truth- be open

Tell her that you have really bad cramps during your periods that make you
miserable or that you want birth contorl to regulate your period. Some moms may
also understand it if you add in that you always want to be prepared. Say that
you are not ready and don't plan on having sex, but you want to have it just in
case.
If you are in a relationship and want to be protected in case something happens
get some condoms.....birth control pills do not protect against
STD's
