Mini

Because of medical reasons my doctor
has put me on the mini-pill instead of the full contraceptive pill. I'm curoius
to know how many people have fallen pregnant while using it. I have been told
that as long as i take it as per the instructions it should be as effective as
the normal pill.
When taken correctly, the minipill is just as effective as a combined pill.
(About 99% effective.) The catch is that with the minipill, it is more important
to take the pill everyday at the exact same time (even during your period) and
your protection is compromised even if you are a few hours late taking it, so
the "typical use" effectiveness is lower, like 90% effective.
