Bladder stone and cystoscopy question?

hey
guys, i m 17 and i hav a bladder stone its 0.7 mm. i have a surgery in 7 days my
doctor said he will put a tube in my penis to my bladder and use a laser to
break it.
and last year he put the camera inside my penis and my bladder to see the stone.
but now he will break it
so my question is ...
are they same procedure? did any one removed their stone like that?
and how much pain???
They will insert the small laser into your bladder through your penis and then
the laser will break the bladder stone into tiny pieces. I am not sure whether
you will experience any pain in passing the tiny pieces but you need to ask your
doctor about this. Be sure to drink lots of water after they break it up.

Another important question to ask is Why are you forming bladder stones? You
need to find this out so you can avoid future problems. It may be as simple as
drinking more water. Ask them to analyze the stones to see what they are made
of.

Also, make sure you have a good urologist who is willing to answer your
questions and help you through this as you are a young guy and have to be
worried.
Good luck.
