Fingernails growing out of neck?

How is
this possible..my brother in law went to the docter because he had a painful
thing coming out of his neck..the docter said it was a fingernail...and i swaer
it looks like a fingernail growing inside of a mole..its really strange..but he
said its painful..and sometimes part of it falls off...but ti grows back..but i
swear to god im not lieing...how is this possible
This is biology. As you probably know, our body is made up of billions of cells.
Our cells have proteins called enzymes. Enzymes speed up reactions. As you may
know our DNA is copied into each of our cells. Enzymes can be "turned on" or
"turned off." For example, our nails exist on our fingers, because the enzyme is
turned on. Sometimes, they get turned on in other places, such as your
brother-in-law's neck. This means, a human can grow anything wherever. Like a
toenail on his stomach, as disgusting as that sounds.
um...this is real?

if so, some sort of tumor. I forget the name but they can grow and look like
unborn twins and they can have teeth too.

Moles are nothing more than melanin cells that are clustered together and
fingernails are nothing but dead cells. So I see no reason why this could be
impossible, strange but not impossible.
